Thank you for an amazing tutorial! This was my first square ever and I'm using it now for a fundraiser. FYI there is a small omission on the edit at 12:07 where you skip mentioning the 3 chain stitches before the single crochet into the 4th stitch of the 7 double crochets of the previous round 🥴 I didn't see this until my second square but it's all good now. Thanks again, and i love your accent btw ✨🙏✨

I have been crocheting for over 10 years, and found you a little fast at times but I just rewound the video and paused it where I needed to, no issue at all! Anyway, I'm using this square to cover a throw pillow. I'm just going to continue on with the final border. Thank you again for a wonderful tutorial.

At the beginning of Round #5 after the first corner when you chain 4 to do the double crochet in the single crochet of Round #4 you didn’t mention to chain 3 before adding the single crochet in the middle of the 7. You did mention it once you got to the next side though. Just wanted to mention that for anyone else that may have missed that like I did. I love the pattern though and your directions are super easy to follow. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. I have the Willow granny square pattern in the "Jan Eaton 200 Blocks" book but it uses UK terms and no symbols chart, which is very frustrating not to have included with a pattern. Your video is easy to follow along, you are clear and concise, a great teacher. And thank you so much for sharing the symbols chart in the description box, making it easier to crochet and simple to edit the changes you made to the pattern. Your edits made this granny square look even better in my opinion.

Hi, Im new here so thank you for your demo! In reference to a previous comment, It is rather fast to follow as a beginner, but for someone who can't yet follow patterns and a newcomer to crochet, i managed to "WATCH, PAUSE, WORK, GO BACK, WATCH AGAIN AND REPEAT" and I have managed to run a fair few lovely lacy squares off this way this afternoon sat with my feet up feeling sorry for myself with a flu bug! So thank you for your demo - you have taught me to run before I can walk! My only complaint is a personal one - I have a sore middle finger left hand from prodding and poking it too much with the crochet hook! OUCH!! That said the elegent looking square is well worth it!

Easy to follow. Beautiful design. Pause and fast forwarded a few times, but for the most part, I could keep up... you are quite skilled the teacher!

You are really the best. I've only been crocheting since the start of the year but I've done a few scarves, hats, some amigurumi, 2 granny square bags and all had big flaws and mistakes in them. This is the first tutorial where I've been able yo completely follow along with you and my square has turned out so perfect. I'm in shock lol I always mess up all my projects. I keep looking at my square finished and I'm so in love with it. Thanks so much. Going to try to keep going and make a blanket from these squares but also when I feel abit braver I will venture into your other videos. Thanks so much. I'm so happy 😆

thank you so much! I decided I wanted to learn a new square and its so pretty. I had to pause, work, pause or rewind to see again :) I love it! Theyre a good size so I'll be able to get a few squares together and make a nice blanket :)

I’m new to crocheting (not even a month in) and I honestly love this tutorial. Not only is the end result gorgeous but you explained everything so well and made it so easy to follow along. I’m using this pattern to make a blanket for my grandmother because she was so excited that I was learning (it reminds her of her own grandmother) Can’t thank you enough for this ❤

It’s so nice to hear! Because there are so many ppl in the comments that claim to have been crocheting for years 🙄 and still can’t get it… I strongly believe that between the video and the written part, this tutorial is so easy! All it requires is to pay attention and a little patience. Cheers! 🥂

I made this pattern about 6 months ago. I love it so much, I am doing it again. I needed to refresh my memory.
It all comes back. Like riding a bicycle.

I LOVED this tutorial!!!!! I put a twist in the making of it though. Instead of crocheting the square to make it turn out looking flat, I front post stitched everything! Now the square looks 3-D. I wish I could put up a picture of how it looks because it's got so much texture it looks wonderful!!! I also used Red Heart Unforgettable yarn that self variegates and it looks SPECTACULAR!!!

I've only ever crocheted basic granny squares so this tutorial was awesome! 👍😁 I watched and wrote down ALL the instructions (I learn better by watching and taking notes). I stumbled upon this design and knew I had to try it so thank you very much for taking the time to demonstrate how to make it. You did an excellent job and I am going to try to make at least one square tonight and then I may have to buy several yarn colors when I'm successful. Can't wait to watch your video where you put the squares together. Thanks again and have a great day!😊

I believe all crochet tutorials should take a leaf out of Lenysea’s book! I love her simple and easy to follow approach, doesn’t talk about anything else, purely on the stitch and pattern guidelines. It really helps me FOCUS. Thank you!
