That sounds wonderful. Thankyou for such lovely feedback 🥰
Thank you for explaining so well. I love making willow!!!
I made a bag with this pattern and it turned out so beautifully 💖💖 Thank you so much
I've not crocheted one of these before so I was a little nervous and excited to start. Easy to follow and I now have a completed Willow square. 🤩
yes I can read a crochet but sometime there are some that just need to be viewed by someone actually crocheting it♥ YT has been very helpful in that regard!
Thank you for sharing! I just cal and made one. Turned out so cool!
Love this video. You give such clear instructions. Very easy and simple to follow xx
This is stunning! Thank you so much for the great clear instructions. 👏💖
I’m making a green blanket with these and they’re super cute, thanks for the tutorial
Made two of these with this tutorial today !! Thanks so much for the clear instructions! I swapped to a different color after the 5th (i think) round also, and the contrast makes the flower shape look super defined and cute !
That’s amazing! Are you planning to make a blanket?
Thanks for watching xx
Superb tutorial for a beautiful and complex square made of relatively simple stitches. Broken down really well and I actually love the bright color used, makes it easy to see. The way she says “ok” gives me ptsd from all the horrible bosses I’ve had tho 😬
Ha ha ha! You actually had me laughing out loud. 🤣🤣🤣
I’m a teacher after all.
Well atleast you enjoyed watching my videos. 😆😃xx
Watched another tutorial but didn't quite get it, so i watched yours and it's so clear i got ist immediately. Thank you for the nice and clear instructions!

As per usual, you do such a good job with your explanation of the steps. This one however, has so many different steps in each row, that l'll have to watch it over and over. Eventually I'll memories it. Thank you for the time you give to teach us.
I just learned how to crochet and this was the first granny square I’ve ever made! Thank you for such a clear tutorial!!

I love your Willow square pattern. I have watched many many willow tutorials and find yours the best. Do you have a pdf download pattern. I’m struggling to keep up and I’m sure I’ll wear my remote out with all my rewinds and pauses. Thanks again for the video. You have a lovely voice . It’s a welcome change. ❤
Thank you so much!!!
Very beautiful pattern. Please make a video to show how to join the granny squares.
I was watching another video of this pattern and I grew so frustrated because the lady was going way too fast and the way she explained it was confusing. Then I clicked on your video and I was finally able to make it!! I’m so happy. Thank you!!

Its amazing thank you❤
🥰🥰🥰
Beautifull ❤
Thankyou x
Anyone knows how to do half of this? Like a willow triangle granny?
Btw this tutorial is great! Thank you so much💛
Found this on Pinterest. Do you have a tutorial of how you joined the squares for the blanket?
can you do that with a thinner crochet thread? also, will you need to sew these squares together
Every time I attempt this pattern I get to the fourth round at the very end and I have a chain 4 instead of chain 3 and no room to make the next chain 3. I don’t understand what I’m doing so wrong as I’ve followed the instructions and redone my square multiple times to try and figure out the issue. Could you please tell me what you think I could be doing wrong?
Have you figured this out because I am having the same problem.
The chain 5 counts as 1 double crochet, in total there should be 16 double crochets (1 chain 5, + 15 double crochets)
😍😍
Thank you for your andwer
Which rounds can I crochet to make the square bigger ? Thank you for great video 😊
Thankyou.
You can continue working rounds of Dc all the way around to make this square bigger. Alternatively you can make 4 and join them together…
Love this tutorial! What are the measurements for the square?
Thankyou x it’s 15cm x15cm
I love this pattern and are using it to make a top, but I need to make some half/triangle squares - is that possible? Any tips? Would I start each round with fresh yarn, then sew in all the 14 ends?
Thankyou
That sounds amazing!
Yes it is possible but really hard to explain over a text ..
you don’t have to use fresh yarn for each round. You can continue with same yarn, unless you are changing colours…
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching my videos.
Happy Crocheting 🧶
awesome, thanks for your video.
how big is this square please?
Your welcome
It’s 15cm x15cm
Thanks for watching my tutorials xx
This is a wonderful tutorial.
But for some reason when it comes to doing the 5, 3, 4, 3...etc I keep having one less than you!! I’m following the tutorial to a T but I keep doing it wrong 😂 apparently
It's the same with me! Idk where the space just vanishes off too but i only have room for the last 4, i can't fit the three in! Maybe we didn't do enough stitches in the previous row
very nice pattern, but at the last round, i get confused with the number of chains
I love this stitch but am coming across the same problem and I can’t find my mistake. I’m up to the round where you make the square shape (5, 3, 4, 3, 5). I don’t have another two stitches for the last set of 3. If you have any idea what I’m doing wrong, I’d appreciate it a lot!
neeetalife thanks for getting in touch. You need to double check the number of puffs before that. There should be 16 altogether. Most common mistake is that when you are making puff petals in round 2 some forget to put one just below the stitch where chain 3 is from which leads to the same problem that you are facing. Xx
Hope that helps x
Keep Calm and Crochet thanks! I’ll try it out 😄
Have you figured this out? I have 16 puffs but I still can't fit the last chain 3.
beautiful pattern. going to use square for poncho. what is the size of the square. thanks for your great video.
Your welcome. This square is 15cm x15cm
That's for sharing. 🤗
Thank you for this vidéo.
Do you havé make a vidéo How to join the squares ?
Odile Domalain your welcome xx I’m glad you liked it. X
Joining the square video will follow next week. X
Which size is it ?
Super tutorial
Thankyou x
The square is 15cm x15cm
Thanks 😊
Do you have a video on how to join these squares?🙂
Not at the moment. I’ve been on maternity leave but will have it on very soon.
A little late to the party... mine seems to pucker quite a bit and looks more like a bowl than a flat square. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong?
Dont make it too tight. Loosen it up a bit and itll turn flat again.
Anyone know what the finished size of this square is? I'm looking for 6x6 squares.
This square is about 15cm X15cm
@@KeepCalmAndCrochet thanks so much!
Do you have a tutorial on how to join them together?
Not yet but I have just returned from my maternity leave and I am planning to create one soon x
Can i ask how big the square measures please? 🙏🏼
It measure 17cm x 17cm 😊
Is anybody else ending up with 5 corners? I’m very new and confused please help 😭 I keep recounting my stitches and everything seems good until I start doing corners 7:18
11:18
I am a little confused, I have a willow pattern also a lacy flower granny square pattern. You seem to make a square combining both patterns. Your granny square looks slightly different than my two squares. Regards from New Zealand.
There are a variety of willow granny squares. All a little different…
It would be easier if you didnt go so fasta for beginners, absolutely love this pattern thank you
You can always slow the video down on your device.
I wish the project was actually cantered in the tutorial and that you showed it flat between each new round and said how many stitches should be in each round. I’m struggling with the fourth round and just realised my 2nd round has 17 stitches instead of 16, so I basically need to start again. Also the autocaptions are completely off base.
Do you have a written pattern for this? Free or paid, doesn't matter to me.
Sorry not at the moment. But I can certainly look into creating one x
@@KeepCalmAndCrochet That would be fantastic! I'd definitely be willing to pay for the pattern.
Somewhere along the line my square became a circle 😂
It starts off with a circle but then make it into a square in the last step.
