We have now finished covering the story of Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon) from the Red Dragon Arc up until its final chapter. This is one of the most thought-provoking and unique fantasy manga, which started quite bright and happy, only to surprise us with deep and really dark themes that will make you think about different aspects of life and how we take some things for granted. Although I'm sure it will not be for everyone, it is definitely a masterpiece in its own right. 😋💯

The best take I saw was that he was cursed to never see a monster again, honestly sounds like a real sucker for him and a good choice by the demon, if falin would've died he'd eventually move on, but to have your fascinations still there just running away from you is way more constant WAIT, THATS JUST THE CURSE OF TANTALUS, WHERE FOOD WOULD BE JUST OUT OF REACH *ITS ABOUT FOOD AGAIN*

Well Thistle was left with so little desire that he was a husk for a long time, who knows if he could have helped them at that point, not to mention that it could also have been the power of the demon what allowed him to do it
While it probably won't happen, it would be amazing if the series gets adapted all the way, and then a movie or ova of an epilogue story comes out. The world building is so well done. It feels like a waste to not see anything of most of the characters after the feast

The Winged Lion is the bad guy, they beat him, and in the end they eat the dragon part of Falin and after a few days of her being in a coma-like state, she wakes up. Laios becomes the new king of the forgotten kingdom. I just saved you an hour and 20 minutes of video.
