Thank you! I have people make comments to me in lfg all the time, especially with these cowpoke builds, "you're gonna dps with that??". I always joke around and say "just watch, I'm gonna be at the top of the score board". Some times I am, some times I'm not, but I have never had anyone continue to give me crap after the first wipe. Meta can get very stale to me. Fun > Meta, imo.

@EatsUsedTP Is it? I haven't tested them side by side like that. Wasn't too worried before because I wasn't gonna switch anyhow lol If that's true, then I guess people push so hard for it because you don't need to reload during the buff.

Here me out, classic throwback:
Liar’s Handshake, One-Two Punch.
And it Jolts now, so if you ever feel like punching your way through a GM, you fan be comfortable knowing it can stun Overloads. Needs some setup in the mods for survivability though, unless you like eating a faceful of shrapnel.
I was playing around with the new hunter chest piece. I put on Ascension and Tempest Strike so I can combo both. That's a lot of fun, too, once you get used to it.
Haven't touched Liar's Handshake in a long time but will try out the setup:]

The ones I've been making? I haven't been able to put down TLW, so I set out on a mission to make one for all the elements.

The builds have always been there, but we didn’t have a setting for them to really shine - onslaught gives us that chance!

Do Warden's Law instead of Last Word, and Coldheart instead of POLR unless you need the exotic space for your heavy.
Even bigger YEEHAW damage!
Think I am gonna make a build with Warden's Law some time after I finish this series. It's been highly recommended. I really like the Coldheart suggestion as well!

The only thing with this build is that it would have to be with friends or clanmates. There is no way that an lfg group will stick around for any hunter that is not tether because they haven't a clue to what's actually going on or their favorite content creator showed them only one way to do onslaught.
I haven't had that issue personally, but I do get what you mean. It's a shame that so many lfg groups can be like that. I totally understand wanting to be "efficient," but the meta isn't the only answer. There are many ways to play, and it's much more fun for me to explore with these funny outlier builds.
@@SatrixPlaysGames I couldn't have worded that any better. While the meta is tried and true, it's cool to try out new stuff. It's even better when you are cookin' in an activity and your friends are asking you "wtf are you using?" lol

A lot of people like to use Warden's Law or Malfeasance. That said, my favorite alternative is probably Crimson. :]

Malfeasance does a better job then last word. And wardens law is the best to use for lucky pants. Dont waste your time with last word people it has 8 bullets in the mag thats not even enough to make full use of the lucky pants buff

I m also wearing stalker hat boot n all, is why I love the last word fanning the hammer action and gunslinger look do well runnin dungeons campaign even PVP loved it except if going high end raids I may switch other hand cannon like malfeasance or others

That won't work with the arc cowpoke because you have to either match your handcannon with subclass or use a kinetic one with the Lucky Pants.
But you could try that with my solar cowpoke build. I haven't tried Eriana's with Lucky Pants myself

I believe that footage was regular. But I have done normal and legend with the build, and just finished my 2nd run through Pantheon with it. It is end-game capable.

The fist Combo is 10 times better. You become faster your super and dont need to use so much Ammo. Yes for Bosses you need Ammo but in the most Boss Areas you have ads to kill.

Mal lucky pants. I rlly hope they dont vault it day 1. Only problem with this build is finding something to melee in high end content
I don't think Lucky Pants will be vaulted for day 1. I don't think it has before, but I could be wrong. As for endgame, at least with champions, there is quite a bit of damage resist built in as long as the champion isn't the only enemy. Dodge to get the jolting punch ready, then blink to close the gap and wham! During a boss fight....well that one Kinetic Loader makes TLW reload as fast as it would with Marksmans, so we don't necessarily need the reload buff from a punch during that time.
