Yeah he did amazing in the CDL tourneys. By far the best performing druid in them
My only question is what two druids do you put ahead of him in PVP, there are a couple PVE ones I can think of but in PVP I'm not coming up with any names. (classic druid not retail)
@@Average1212 In US hes perhaps number 1. But EU has Qhrille, Yawn and Javel that did way better than him. Soda never even managed to beat Payo or Perplexity without getting opener but those other 3 would toy with them consistently.

I mean, you obviously respec (if necessary) for a Mak'gora. But I'm pretty sure that was always a Balance talent. For this strategy to make sense, he was probably 80% Balance, if not 100%. You can start in cat stealth anyway.

Soda did well; however this lock is terrible. Uses death coil at 100% life to try to 1 shot rotation a caster Druid, doesn’t use drain mana, doesn’t use drain life, doesn’t use spell stone, doesn’t bandage, doesn’t pot, doesn’t grenade…
People criticize the warlock for not having instant-cast Corruption. However, they fail to realize that if he took that, he wouldn't have his level 40 talent, Soul Link.
He shouldn't be soul link, that's it.

Soda having the deep knowledge that he does about duels and 1v1s is just next level, the only difference between normal and soda is he is an elite level pvper but hes an entertainer over pvper. he is factually one of the greats, one of the best ferals to ever, ever to grace the game. if he put away the "streamer" side of himself and was more like one of the professional wow players (bonus, name a full team of a WoW arena team 5v5. exactly you can't). think of the level Soda plays, pve and pvp. he rarely loses or does shit like say asmongold, where he fucks up, entertainment or not, Soda has control 99% out of 100. someone please prove me wrong with a video or post saying to why Soda isn't one of the top level PvPers to have ever graced WoW. bare in mind anyone reading this.. Xaryu is elite level, think of the plays he does compared to those of his class and compared to everyone else

I've seen a lot of druids lose because they shift the slows too much and oom themselves lol

He is playing a super safe leveling spec, this is a PVE hardcore server. The only real mistake he made was accepting a duel with Soda.

nah, leveling as Demo you need time for the pet to build agro, On hardcore where you aren't doing multi mob pulls it is totally irrelevant if you have imp corruption.
He is likely specked for max survivability not min maxed for dps. It's funny how every clown online thinks there is only one way to get to 60. The same people that lose their minds when guzu plays DW arms.
He may have had a shit dueling spec but for leveling im sure his spec was just fine.

This is the reaction I would expect from Soda from a legit duel, that paladin duel was obviously fake. But then again, I don't trust anything this dude does, I mean, the warlock has engineering but only used the dragon trinket (a net would have totally wrecked Soda), doesn't have instant cast corruption, doesn't cast a single Shadowburn, and let's quite a lot of time pass between reapplication of CoA after dispel. I just feel like everything Soda does is astroturfed but I could just be looking too far into the match.
EDIT: The reason for the net is that you fear and net, that way fear doesn't take the target out of range of a followup fear.

Where does this idea that soda fakes stuff come from? The warlock making mistakes or the paladin being terrible does in no way point towards fakery. People have different skill levels and mak'goras are nerve-racking. Also, at that level you can't have soul link if you get insta corruption.

duel range needs to be change. So it's like an arena. It's so boring watching druids run away all then time
That's the only thing they have going for them. Except for running away, they are a cheaper version of every class. Mages are better than Balance, Warriors are better than Feral bear, Rogues are better than Feral Cat and Priests are better than Restoration. Shapeshifting is the only thing that might even the playing field, if the druid is good enough to use it to his advantage.
