the first tournament done in vanilla classic was boring asf because people made so many rules, so many banned consumes. Seeing everyone using every shit in the game is fun asf, fights are long, everyone has a different strategy. Insane W for whoever had the ideia to allow eveything

insane gameplay from perp, warrior v rogue is the most one sided duel for the warrior, im surprised it was THAT close
Rogues can kill warriors without them being able to do a whole lot, it's all the consumes/trinkets that keep stuff interesting. They both played insanely well though

With full consumes + engi + no raid-tier dagger, yes. In most situations it is pretty easy to crippling kite/bleed out a warrior, but in this specific situation, it's definitely favoring the warrior. Both played extremely well. @@aqdjbcr
I think the initial qualifiers duel with Pshero and that warlock was even more intense

something no one commented on was how Sonii used last stand at 3:28. I would be very interested to see what spec he was running, was definitely not conventional. No MS, had at least 10 pts into Protection. Didn't see imp hamstring either.

@@haveaseatsir No. But in this ruleset they were absolute garbage. Auto lose vs priest and lock. The win percent chance against the other classes range from like 5%-50%. And you need opposite specs to be decent vs melee compared to what you need to be decent against casters, which puts them at a further disadvantage. The only thing they competed for was 1st druid.

This guy called Sonii obviously bought gold and was in the best gear possible wich is not possible for a single person effort for that time. At the end he won by pure luck this duel.

If Perp had been better equipped, he would have gone further in the tournament. i think he lost 2 times leveling and lost a lot of time.
It's all part of the tournament. Everyone had same conditions. So no what ifs.
Agreed perp with BiS woukdve probably been a big upset, snutz though is prob the best WoW player of all time and is very familiar with rogue so… think Snutz still wouldve taken it home

and the ping diff. if NA came to EU servers the finalists would be completely different. you can see perp fails to deadzone a couple of times and thats mostly like 200 ping vs less than 50

i think he died somewhere in the middle and had to re-level. so his gear was a little behind. that’s what makes it so much more impressive though
@@doristhebrowndog He died once at like level 28 which wasn't a biggie. But he also died at lvl 57 where he had already farmed tidal charm. He got to 60 on his third rogue with a handful of days left to farm some gear.
@@bajjanitor damn. Doing this well with that gear is ridiculously impressive. Against a fully stacked warrior too. I would love to see more rogues higher in the finals but some of them were unlucky in some way lol

Soni running around on his epic mount for 30+ seconds with a rogue trying to reset in stealth kinda ruined the duel for me, perp seemingly just ran in yolomode to open before timer ran out and ended up having to vanish because of it.
Poor Perplexity competing in shit gear coz he died a bunch of times while leveling 😆, didn't have enough time to farm BiS. GGs tho.

He would have won in pre-BiS gear but since he died a bunch of times while leveling he didn't have enough time to farm it, he had a considerable gear disadvantage.
honestly if perp had better weapons he wins this duel. unfortunate but it is what it is. I think he outplayed soni here though considering the availability of poison resist elixirs to remove cripples. Soni played well but imo perp played better, it came down to gear at the end of the day, but thats the game. GG
