Keep things rusty, except your tools!
This guy lives the snowrunner video game life
That’s where I learned about the loadstar. Here in corn country there aren’t too many old IH medium duty trucks but a ton of old GM C60s, 65s, and GMC Brigadeers. One of my best friends growing up taught me how a manual transmission works in a C60.
Loyal old girl . Starts first time
Short, but sweet. A lot of modern vehicles don’t start that quickly 😂
Nice truck. My Grandpa always said to leave it choked some til it warms up. Great video.
The gas engines in those Loadstars ran. That truck brings back memories.
Pretty impressive cold start. That IH wants to go to work in a bad way!
Heck yeah she's still got a lot life left in her 👍 👍
I work for a farmer when I was young he had a match pair of them 345 straight 5 speed straight twin screw they were tanks. They both had 32 ft grain boxes on them.
You just have love a hand choke and throttle, get you anywhere you need to go. Thanks for the videos. As allways be safe. Peace.🇺🇸
Love the old IH 👍🇺🇸⚜️🔥
Can't wait to see more with this one 👍👍🇺🇸
Certainly willing, ready to go to work
Love the ol Loadstar 1700 we’ve got, it’s a 4x4 with a great big front drive, boom truck service body on the back for setting power poles. Big hydraulic crane with an auger and extendable boom with a big line. Sucker will pick up anything! Most handy tool we’ve got on the ranch.
I had a 1964 loadstar 1600 that I used for a mobile fleet repair truck I used it for almost 20 years it was still going strong when I updated it in the year 2000 that truck made my business a lot of money, they were great trucks IH sold a lot of them.
Great looking loadstar
Macie piękne auta. Super że je ratujecie i nie wyrzucacie. Macie cudowną przyrodę!! Gdy byłem młodszy bardzo chciałem mieszkać na Alasce. Pozdrowienia z Polski:)
You have beautiful cars. It's great that you save them and don't throw them away. You have wonderful nature!! When I was younger, I really wanted to live in Alaska. Greetings from Poland:)
Greetings from Northern California to Poland a beautiful country.
That's awesome fired right up no problem keep your cool content coming Love you Channel can't wait to see whats next.😀
Of all the trucks I used to drive working for a family farm the loadstar was my favorite
Hey Brother! Just having my coffee and checking out the performing Loadstar and it's so cool to wake up to this. Thanks for the morning boost to get the day going!
The battery must be good She started just fine
Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
Nice, didn’t mind a cold startup at all 👍
The 2 stick is cool. My 5 month old and I enjoy these videos.
Awesome! That’s how you know its good.
Very cool looking truck....it has a simple modern look to me.
What a gem
NICE TRUCK / OLD RELIABLE
Good ol binder. If that thing was new you wouldn't have much better heat than that is now...lol. Thanks for the video 🍺
What a good old truck.
Nice truck
I love the multiple gears in reverse :)
Awesomeness!! Way back in '95, the old school bus in Bandera, Tx, was an old International similar to that, gas engine, except it had an automatic transmission. Took days to get up to speed. It probably had half a million miles on it. 😂🤣😂🤣 It was a daily driver, five days a week since it was bought new in the late 60's early 70's.
Great video Young Man. Enjoy learning that you are helping keeping those trucks alive. Liked the cold start on the old tandum International truck
Good deal had 2 IH 🏆❤️🤔
Loadstars are really cute
nice looking loadstar international truck there and it starts good
Love your channel! Cheers Teague and Panda the dog :D
Had a 1966,1 ton,4whl drive,304v8,manual choke like yours.Always started like that,no matter how cold.
Majestic
Wow! You have got some serious weaponry there!
cannot beat an IH truck. Love the twin sticks. I used to drive an R model mack that was just like it. That thing would go 40 in reverse!
Wow it kicked right off! I was looking forward to a small fire burning under the engine to warm up the engine oil. AL B.
Real life Snowrunner!
Thanks for the video you're getting a very nice collection there
there
Sure looks like fun!
OHFUKCKYEAHBUD! What a sweetie! Cheers!
Damn it was 80 here in Texas today
👍👌mint!
like your channel. The one and only brand new car my dad ever bought was a 1977 honda civic. They came with a manual choke lol. Pull all the way out to start, push in to the middle detent for warm up. If you forgot about it you wasted fuel and i guess poisoned the environment :)
morning rush hour with your windshield 90% covered. 😂 typical alaskan
I love it the game snowrunner in a live version
Good Job.
Oh, God, that snow... I hate the stuff. Bit of luck and we won't get more than a sprinkling this year here in the middle of England. Wrap up warm, y'hear? 🇬🇧👍
Here in the middle of Sweden, we still have +11´C, the snow and cold sems far away, if you could do some more snowmobile-videos, it would be the icing..👌
Epic content as usual 👌
The Loadstar was also built in the UK during the 1960's.
Badass rig id slap a sleeper on it
Very cool! I have a big love of old iron too! What do u use to edit video??
🤟😁🤟
What transmission and auxiliary box are in the loadstar? I was thinking of somehow taking a loadstar OD trans and auxiliary box and swapping it into my IH pickup of the same year.
I'd love to own one of those trucks, problem is I live in Germany 😂
Sweet truck, sounds awsome. how many trucks do you have now that are mostly complete?
Too many to count lol
🤠👍👍
Does the heat/defrost work?
every start is a cold start up there. do you have a snow plow?
Hey I got a 65 Loadstar sitting on the back of my property! I'm trying to get her started and restore it, she's been sitting for over 30 years.
What all do I need to do to get her running?
Enjoy all your videos. I have a question. Is that a 4×4 transmission ? Thank you for sharing. Waiting for the next video.
5x4 transmission.
Where do you get parts? I just purchased a 1969 1700 and 1967 1800 with the 345 engine.
Who knows how much of Alaska that truck helped build
What size engine cdoes it have😊
What engine is that? A 345 V8?
I'm almost positive it is a 345, brother.
@@wes11bravo interesting. I've never seen a Loadstar truck equipped with a twin stick before. All of the ones I've seen were either four or five speed boxes either single or two speed rear axles.
@@michaelchan8915 lots of Loadstars had twin sticks ...
I really miss AK.
Back when the 2 words “Made In America” meant something
2:47 that's what she said
Loadstar FOR-SALE?
Electric fuel pump makes a world of difference doesn't it?
Is that a 304?
345
@@BackyardAlaskan cool.
It was a lumber truck running on gasoline ⛽️
I guarantee you *I* could get it stuck!
Such a loyal old gal~ I bet with a new bed she could be put back to work.
Man, I'd LOVE to have an 1800 or 1850 Loadstar. I'd put a 5th wheel on it.
Bro that’s snow runner fr
Must be terrible to have all them good Ole trucks...I'd rather own a couple old trucks than a whole fleet of new ones.
I want one even though there loud don't ride worth a shit and get awful fuel economy idc fucking mint!!!!!!
Раша ЗиЛ 133 с ШЕВРОЛЕ "слизала"? ))) Как впрочем и всё остальное..., от самолетов, до зубной щётки и пасты...
I had one like that with a DD in it and a 13 speed
