I'm intrigued by that first elastic waist band construction technique. Love the side-by-side cams and can't wait for the pattern drop!

I just found your channel and I love your tips! For how you get the pleet meeting nice and sharp to the ban roll. I've never seen either technique! My Millicent skirt has a gap in the pleat right in the front. I wish I had known about that tip when I made my Barbie dress! Your skirts look great!

Thank you! Yes that trick is super helpful. I had that happen a lot before I learned that.

You look gorgeous; love both though the plaid is my direction right now, playful and captures attention.

They both turned out gorgeous. I loved the Dark navy skirt most.

Love the skirts ! They both look great on you. Are these the circle patterns that you love and speak of often? I agree with you about the hems. That little bit of white that peaks through as you move does give the skirt some charm; especially the navy one with its white buttons and the white top you wore. I need to watch the video again so I can make notes this time for what I learned here today.
I would love for you to do a video on your thoughts about what you look for in a pattern and its style to know that it will look good on you when you’re planning your sewing projects. I love your taste and your style. Your choices always look great on you.

Aww thank you so much! That is a good video idea, I have been thinking about doing something like that for awhile. This is a different skirt pattern (for once 😝) but you could always add pleats like this to a circle skirt also.

Love your new skirts! Not sure which is my favorite since they're both great! I'd love to know what you're using to mark on the dark fabrics. It looks like it's working better than anything I've tried lately.

Its a dritz fabric marking mechanical pencil. I got it from Joann. I think its my favourite thing now for dark fabrics. Sometimes I do wet it a bit to get it to go on smooth though

What size are the washers that you use for your pattern weights?

I honestly dont know, I do have a couple different sizes. I just try and get the largest ones they have at the hardware store!

Where did you get your electric scissors? I checked your Amazon store but didn't see them there. Thank you!

I just got them at Joanns. They keep not having them in stock on Amazon. They are the pink power electric scissors
