Have a couple areas, but trying to match an area of interest, I mean you always find the coolest locations. FYI, I am using a 5 foot piece of pvc pipe wrapped in tape (to try and stabilize it) (a bit bouncy lol) anyway thought I share that so you can get a laugh. Love what you do and thank you for doing it.
But, having a drone makes a lot of this much easier. I can launch my drone and start shooting in 2 mins and each battery runs over 30+ mins each and I have 6 batteries.
As someone who flies both cinematic and FPV drones, I found this fascinating. There are places I can't fly where I'd love to get footage. A mix of actual drone footage and these tricks would be awesome.
Brother you deserve medal for this amazing lessons and you are doing all these things while you are even getting hurt yourself just to make us useful and easy technique for making videos. Well done brother wishing you more successful ahead of you.
Amazing! I have dji osmo 3 but i still practicing. I almost watched all of your videos to get some tips. Soon i will be well, i am dying hard for cinematic video like this.
One of THE best channels on RUclips!! I've just discovered it and can't wait to keep binge watching it :) Thanks so much for all your tips; giving plenty ideas
One thing I did notice was that because all the clips were shot in open shade, there was no problem with the operator's shadow in any of the clips. Same with an overcast day. So much easier to get that footage. Great tutorial!
This is another level tips which you shared with us so we can bring ourselves to the next level which I appreciate and admire. Keep sharing your knowledge for those who don't own much but had the courage to grab their piece of pie with learning through RUclips. Loved liked and admired keep it up and wish you good luck see ya SOON with more...!
*My mind* : We can't effort a drone so let's see if there is a way to fake drone shots 😁 *Me* : Oyess there is a tutorial let's watch 😲 *Meanwhile* : Gimbal in the tutorial 👀 *Me* : Ok bye bye 🙂 😓💔
When you can't reach any further into the little tunnel cut and shoot a new shot from the other side and cut the two together in post. This is a great video and gave me a lot of great ideas. Thanks!
Great video. Great ideas. The idea with the gimbal to keep facing the horizon is very nice. I wonder how it'd come out with an action cam instead of a phone. Might save you the stabilization editing at the end. Oh, and flip-flops are a bad idea. True.
This a common problem these days, more and more restrictions are being put in place, preventing us from flying drones. A smart combined with a Kimbo. An extension pole is a great alternative. Also a 360 camera on an extension pole makes for a great alternative..
Wow , what a heart tuching vedio making and marvellous excellent explanation. Really u r the one who stand out even in the millions of the vedios makers . Love u , like u . Thanks a lot
I did this a few years back with a gimbal and an old monopod (which was a bit flimsy but luckily didn't break), to film around our house so I could use the video for photogrammetry. A useful technique to get around the the ban on flying drones within the borders of cities/towns/villages in my country. a metal light/microphone stand is indeed sturdier thus better suited for this.
Excellent.! I am happy to have you and your valuable tutorials to learn more about filming... And i have a doubt that Which is the best software to edit? And what is the software that you are using to edit the videos??
Waaaah! I just loooove every second of your tutorial videos! I wish I could get a gimbal and a newer iPhone soon so I can apply everything that I have learned from your videos!!!
What location will you be trying these moves out on next? Let me know below 👇
I'm not sure yet of the location. I Will be shooting a music video this week for the first time and I will be using my phone for it.
On our farm

i like it.. thanks.. froms Indonesian east java
It proves that you don’t need any biggest or higher gear
All is creative mind and right knowledge +right technique.
but you will need a big stick 😂
@@randomcallum
Yeah even a wood stick that’s also part of creative mind lol😆 😆
@@randomcallum yeah it’s called a crane or a jib. Use the 100ft supertechno retracting crane and you do this easier.
And a gimbal for 90% of shots
But, having a drone makes a lot of this much easier.
I can launch my drone and start shooting in 2 mins and each battery runs over 30+ mins each and I have 6 batteries.
Never expected this to be filmed by hand if I had seen it without the making-of. Very nice tutorial, thank you.
If you didn't record yourself doing this, I would NEVER have believed this was done without a drone! 🤯 Top notch stuff. Creativity overload 👏👏👏👏👏

Very well done and highly professional. I am a retired BBC/ freelance film crew member and these shots equal some of our professional material.
2:54 oh my gosh. It's heartbreaking to see. You deserve much more Steve
You mean deserve much more wounds
@@chakrapanipatchava7984 Hahaa :)))))))))) No, he doesn't need more. That's fake blood on fake drone footage :)
Your what is your heart made of? glass?
That's painful
I love the outside the box thinking on this. Gimble head, light stand, and phone holder... here I come! Awesome video.
Good job 👍👍
Perfect for our hiking trip! Thanks a ton for these tricks!
Wonderful ❤️
When creativity beats gear!
Plot twist: He just pretended to use his phone but actually just used drone footage
kekw
Well O Don't think so
LOL
Not, it is a Phone, you can see him from other camera
The drone footage was all shot on phone, and all the phone footage was shot with a drone
One thing I did notice was that because all the clips were shot in open shade, there was no problem with the operator's shadow in any of the clips.

Great tutorial. I feel old but this reminds me more of putting together a budget jib crane than a fake drone shot.
Quite creative. Good for taking any kind of cinematographic video. Worth watching

Brilliant work of outstanding personality
cara pengambilan gambar yang sederhana, tapi hasil akhirnya sangat menakjubkan. Terima kasih pelajarannya.
Brilliant. What gimbal mode did you use for those shots?

YOU are AMAZING!!! I could watch this stuff all day! Have to get me that axel gimbal.
I have a drone and an FAA Part 107 license. But, you're right. There are times when I can't fly my drone. This is a great idea.
You are one of the best video maker teacher, thank you very much.
Its really look like a drone shoot.good creativity bro.
I like how it’s considered faking drone shots, and not just considered what they would’ve been called before drone filming was a thing.
You always bring the best, can't wait viewing your uploads. Love from Zimbabwe
Thank you so much! I got in so much trouble flying my drone the other day and the camera sucks anyway
