The shots look beautiful, however, when shooting people with dialog, it is kind of challenging do it this way. Framing, focus, brightness... and no global shutter. POV = Point Of View.

I have the hohem isteady m6 and the freewell anamorphic 1.33 lens just like you but when I want to place my iphone 15 pro with the freewell case and the lens on the gimbal, the gimbal starts making a sound, it gets out of balance and turns off, it's like it can't support the weight of the lens. In your video I can see how you use both things at the same time. So how should I configure my hohem isteady to support the weight of the anamorphic lens? thanks a lot!!!
Thank you for another great tutorial. I found your channel a few weeks ago and I have been watching and re-watching your videos. I bought an Insta 360 Flow Pro and have started to make shots that are more cinematic. Early days but much improved videos. I am moving up to the IPhone 16 pro from an IPhone 11 next week. That should make a big difference. I have found that the gimbal takes a bit of practice like any new technology, but I’m getting there. Thanks again for the great content!

Thank you very much for your support. No I don’t use any counter weight because this is much stronger gimbal. If you are thinking about this one, just wait for a couple of weeks… I’ll show on the channel why… don’t buy anything yet
To be honest, I think using the anamorphic lens is a great idea to create cinematic shots with the aspect ratio of 16:9 with the bars, however... I noticed it is warping the image which makes it look like a GoPro video. If you use Davinci Resolve (even the free version) try to dewarp the image a little. Straight lines are best rather than this warp effect.
I see at 2:14 you have it on 4k and 60fps ... when I use protake it wont let me go beyond 30fps at 4k (Iphone 14 promax) do i need to get the paid version of protake !???
Hi @ZdenkaDarula a quick question. Is the remote control only useful if you have the matching gymbal? I am standard on the DJI Mobile 6. Currently using my Apple Watch, but curious if the remote you are using would be better. I bought the case and freewell lens kit using the links in your description.
If you use a second cheap iPhone with Filmic Remote or another app that allows remote control and monitoring, when attached to the bottom of you tripod you don't have to look up so much and guess what you are framing. The second iPhone is connected to the main iPhone trough WIFI.
For a client shoot not just for RUclips, you need to see what you are filming. The way you are filming you are hoping the frame will be ok, it's impossible to get an accurate preview of what you are filming.

I tried a 1.55x anamorphic lens from Neewer and used black magic camera app, but i find that the footage only looks in focus on close up subjects, wide shots look very blurry, people said the same about the Neewer lens in review, but the one you used looks like it doesn't have that issue. Any insight or experience with this? Thanks!

Your Videos are always enjoyable and educative. However a challenge that many may be facing is how much to carry and how much is enough? I guess its easier to shoot in relatively confined spaces, all the more difficult when someone os travelling between locations and dping more vlog style videos. Any pointers and helpful ideas going ahead?

Iphone is known for worst reflections 2.This gimbam vs Smooth 5/5s Which one will you choose .Matter fact we can add this long pole to record from even 2 meters Cheers👍
Thank you for your question.. the nd filter was placed on anamorphic lens so what you saw in the video is what you get. If you need to get rid of reflections use CPL filter instead. As far as gimbal goes Hohem is the most advanced right now

I have the Zhiyn and its awesome but it seems like it doesn't stay level. Also I have the new Shiftcam Lens ultra kit ordered with a host of lenses and wonder if the Zhiyun will hold up the lens well on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Any ideas? (you should try the Shiftcam lens if you haven't.. waiting on mine.. it was Kickstarter but the results from all reviewers has been phenominal)
Yes I will be introducing Shiftcam on the channel soon as well. I do like this gimbal a bit better. Not sure if the Shiftcam lenses are not too heavy for this though
I just looked it led up the weights on the shiftcam lenses. The wide angle is pretty heavy at a bit over 100 grams however the two anamorphic are about 35. They should work well. Looking forward to your review…. This gimbal doesn’t seem to work with filmic or other apps other than it’s own. Ideas?
I owned a steadicam in the past with cinematic cameras, but don't use my high end gear anymore. I gave shooting with my iPhone 16 Pro Max on a Hohem gimbal a try and was disappointed. I'll reference your video and keep trying.
Hi Zdenka's, warmly meant, I can't stress enough about putting Chapter markers. I am a regular subscriber who refers back to your video's for tips and learning but without theses chapter markers its painful and I find my visits becoming less frequent. Just my humble observations,. :-)

I hear you. Unfortunately, android phones will always have limitations. The phone makers don’t give access to it hardware, so it is very difficult for developers to make the app work.

Yes, ignore the jelly affect. I had a big problems with the premiere Pro. I shoot 60 so I can slow it down in the future videos if I need to use the footage.

Use DaVince Resolve instead if your computer can handle it.. it’s free and same as Premiere… there are always problems with Premiere

Yes the remote is only compatible with Hohem gimbals

The only way to connect the gimbal to phone is through Bluetooth

I unfortunately don’t use Neewer lenses… these are Freewell, very different quality

Just bring equipment which is suitable for the situation. When I’ll be travelling it is going to be tiny setup

Yes, ignore the jelly affect. I had a big problems with the premiere Pro. I shoot 60 so I can slow it down in the future videos if I need to use the footage.
