What I love about learning these techniques is that you can use these techniques but you can also combine them and come up with all sorts of crazy shit... Just found your channel recently, I like the videos a lot, thank you...
I followed this channel when it had less than 25k subscribers now I am really happy to see that your hardworking paid off. nice work my man and I watch all your videos
I also did RUclips for a long time and failed in filming, no one subscribed. maybe the movie I didn't get featured . Today I was guided by you, I am very happy, I like it
Videos made by a beginner give the feeling that they have watched their own videos. Good advice, now I will look at it from a different angle. Thank you Steve, greetings from Russia.
This was so helpful. I did all these steps in my bedroom and came up with something amazing. I can't wait to go outside and actually do all of this in the park or on a hike. So enjoyable.
Thanks for inspiring me to do more videos, I am just new in film making and I only got my cellphone with me, no cameras or DSLR :) but watching you and learning all this really inspired me to continue with my passion in creating cinematic shots with just a smart phone. More power and God bless
Not everyone can afford to make videos with expensive cameras. But they want to capture the beauty of nature in the camera of his smartphone.Thank you so much for sharing the skill of creating something beautiful using a mobile phone.❤️
This is my most favourite tutorial. You mentioned this place as most credible. But for the newbie like me it's place where nothing important to film ! You made or rather " converted" the most ugly shot in to the best ever shot. You are incredible ❤️.Lots of Love from India.
Very very very very very helpful! I'm just a beginner learning multimedia and this is a huge help for me! Feels like Im gonna skip beginner stage because of your ideas Sir😂thankyou! More power! And Godbless!❤️
Hey. This is MIND BLOWING! I love videos and struggle every time to get a good footage. With your tips I will get better. Thank so you much! Please continue with this great tutorials.
I loved this! After watching videos like this one, I'm excited to run out and practice these moves in my own videos. Thank you for all your hard work in putting these together! :)
These videos focus on camera movements. Brilliant. I love them. You should do one focused on body movements. I found that to be absolutely key and most people don't get it.
I've chanced across this channel while looking for tips on improving my filming. I think my knowledge has improved 100% already. Really enjoying it. Simple communicated tips, well explained and loads of variety. Thank you!
Love this video. I started a hobby now shooting and creating music videos and I was laughing at the end comparison between beginner vs pro because I realised where I stand
Steve! This is insanely good and inspiring. Actionable tips to get cinematic footage!! I’m blown away by the shots you captured, but you show exactly how to recreate them. Thank you.

I love and admire your way of teaching which is so easy to understand and learn quickly. Even a layman like me has learn a lot from you and improved my filmography dramatically. Although I am trying hard to mastering my camera moves according to your teachings and hopeful for becoming next level Vlogger. Thanks once again and keep educating us wish you good luck see ya SOON!
Totally relate to the beginner shot! Haha Thank you so much Steve! This is absolutely helpful! I'm so happy to stumble upon this channel. Keep it up Steve!
You’ve really got some great ideas. I’m about to start a project which involves walking through orchards, revealing trees in various stages of bloom. These are all excellent ideas.
Learned a lot of shooting tips. Indeed Im so beginner. Got a youtube channel too, but only using smartphone to shoot things. So this video is perfect for me. Ill do those shooting techniques that I've learned today. Thank you!
Wow, lots of great points for a newbie. I like the parts about revealing the first shot by start recording, locking focus, then starting the shooting. I hadn't thought about that. It definitely helps with focusing. I also like the creativity with the bog and turning the camera upside down. I was filming some water today and this would've helped. Thanks bunches!
Filming cinematic and showing the camera moves is definitely your most viewed videos. Please keep doing those. Really enjoy the 'projects' when you film a particular subject from different angles, showing the movements, like the old house and fully edit it. Thanks
I’ve been watching your channel for a while, and find it very satisfying and educational. I wish you were small enough to fit in my pocket while filming the nature. Keep up the good work you do for us follower’s trying to make interesting videos to shoot. My few videos that I have created, received lot’s of compliments. The only difference we have is you editing your videos on your computer, while I do it on my phone. Thanks for your creative tips. ❤
Wonderful video-again. Your work is immensely inspiring. Before I found your channel, I couldn't be bothered about shooting B-roll clips, but with each video, you're proving that wonderful, cinematic shots don't have to be difficult or expensive. It's all in the mindset. So thank you for all the inspiration!
Surprised by the footage produced with the camera facing up at the tree and pulling down with a twist. Great to learn new techniques like this. Will be sure to give them a go in future 👍
I just found you and already a SUB! This was high quality content, JUST what I was looking for. Examples of DO THIS, NOT THIS. Love the ending how you put them together! Definitely will be watching again and again until I have these techniques down!
First time here. I really like his method of teaching. I think there are a lot of people who just aren't physically able to do what he's doing here. I'm one of them. walking over rough ground while keeping the camera pointed in the desired direction and keeping it steady and all while trying not to stumble is a lot trickier than it appears. Bending at the knees and gradually moving up or in reverse is just not a good idea for me. the techniques are great but it might be nice to show the use of a gimbal to accomplish the same shots.
Thanks for this one Steve!! You‘re such an inspiration and I realized it‘s not just about watching your videos but also going out for exercising again & again to improve the skills. Can‘t wait to see more of your stuff...
Very satisfying and much-needed information!! Thanks a lot for making and sharing this. Lots of information in a small pack. Also, I like the way you teach Steve. One of the best video tutorials which I've seen.
This is such an informative video! I recently just registered for a SkillShare Teach challenge and have been unsure in how to create eye catching footage for online courses. Now I want to incorporate these into my own vlogs for my RUclips channel as well!
Really really great ❤️. Keep going In my opinion, you should make classes on Skillshare, so we will benefit from your knowledge and experience in your field.
Incredible, how long does it takes you for doing such a great tutorial? cutting and so on? im a very beginner and just want to know, greats from Hamburg Germany
So glad I discovered this channel, I have been doing video for more than 4 years, and was getting ready to quit RUclips, after watching several of your videos, I might just give it another shot. Thanks and keep them coming.
This is going to be extremely useful! Sometimes just seeing and hearing the terminology with a quick compare/ contrast is really inspiring. I've done a bit of camera work professionally (stills) and "pulling it all together" always seemed to escape me. Just a bit of pre- planning goes a long way. Until you see the difference it just never seems to click into place. Now I have to figure out the music and sound stuff to go with it
This video is so helpful. The second B roll looks so professional. I learned so much from this tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!
I subscribed because I am new on filming and I'm learning with your videos, second reason why I subscribed, is cause my dream is to visit England one day, but with you I am in love with this beautiful country ❤
*watches all your impressive shots with the ponies on Dartmoor . . . rounds up my cats in the garden and attempts to achieve similar cinematic footage.
Your videos are amazing, I've learnt so much from you. I'd love to hear more about your editing process and your recommendations for phone editing apps. Thank you.
I just came across your channel by chance and I felt the worth of your content instantly. I am now a new subscriber and here to stay. I've learnt a lot from watching just 2 of your videos and can't wait for learn more. I love challenges and I can't wait to start practicing all I've learnt in my subsequent videos.
