- Join me as I make another visit to Tom Robinson's Wildlife Photography Hides near Bourne in Lincolnshire. This time, I visit the Dyke Hide for the first time in hope of photographing 2 of my 'nemesis' species, the Buzzard and the Sparrowhawk. I spend over 18 hours, with friend Dave Clarke, visiting Both the Dyke Hide and Tom's newly built Wired Hide. Tom researches his local area, as well as his extensive family farm, to promote wildlife conservation and give visitors to his hides, the opportunity to photograph a multitude of species, which are changed seasonably depending on breeding success.
🦉 As I have said before, the hides are in my opinion, exceptional, both in terms of design and setup, offering an amazing opportunity to view and photograph the target species.

Great footage, really enjoyed watching especially the slow-mo when the sparrow hawk took off.
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
Great video, great images, it certainly is an active hide, I loved my visit there last month when Tom invited me down for the day, highly recommended to anyone wanting to spend the day getting some top-quality photos and to experience the wildlife.
Thanks Ashley, I saw your video too, great work and I agree, a cracking place.
great video and great shots
Thanks so much
Absolutely unreal
Thanks so much Lee
Stunning footage and images mate. Great have spent such a lot of time with amazing birds
Thank you so much mate
Great video again Adi with beautiful shots despite the inclement weather. Shame about the 'no show' owls but you can't be greedy x
Thanks dad. Indeed you can’t xx
Great video 😍 I love seeing your photos on instagram but your videos are so amazing too!
Thanks so much Lionel
Ahhh mate! What a belter of a video! That sparrow hawk footage was breathtaking mate, loved it when it flew after the jays. She looked like a juvenile female as her eyes were so yellow so she’ll still have a fair bit of learning to do. Another incredible video pal thoroughly enjoyed it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks so much pal, means a lot. Yeah, I wasn’t sure if it was a juvenile male or female as it was reasonably small, which confused me and made me think male.
Just happened to flick channels and found your😮 s.
Brilliant really really interesting.the young un will be back with you and his dad.
Wish that hide was up north.
Thanks for an enjoyable half hour.matthecat
Thanks very much Matt
Great video and set up at Toms place, Ive had some fantastic days there.
Glad you enjoyed it, me too
Amazing. What you said about 'green therapy' definitely rings true for so many, even if they don't realize it. What an experience that must have been, thanks for sharing with us... Would love to get down there and have a go myself one day!
It’s an amazing place and I completely agree about green therapy 👌🏻
Superb photos & video. Thank you, John.
Pleasure John, thank you
Some great footage Adam. It’s a shame one of them did’t catch that grey squirrel 😂
100% agree mate. Thank you 🙏🏻
Very nice 👌
Thanks Dean
superb! out of interest how come you are using a tripod rather than the hide plates?
Because that side of the hide is photographic glass and the shelf isn’t deep enough to accommodate a 400mm lens 👍🏻
Great footage 👏 shame about the tawny's
Thanks Michael 👍🏻
Omg mate you have some spectacular images i will have to DM you on instagram on a print
Thanks so much mate
