Exactly, @Cooker Pro. Remember the wreck riddled race about a year ago when Kyle Busch said, "If you don't like this kind of racing then don't even watch"? Well, a lot of people did exactly that, stop watching. I stopped watching as Kyle recommended. I love good clean and HARD-fought racing like this video showed.
Amen brother, I did the same and have only really tuned in for the 500 and a few other in the past 2 years. But after this I think I'll be back for a while lol
Wow.. best finish of the year. If the pack wasnt so close it kinda had that Darlington feel..but these cars can't take that kinda banging on. Man way to wheel that Car Kurt! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEW!
Go to a race. I was there and it's completely reinvigorated my fandom of the sport, as it should. Stands to reason you'll be more connected to what you love when you're a part of it in some capacity :)
I appreciate NBC not just Throwing up every Wreck and stage Win and call it "Highlights" we Love Good clean hard racing where you leave it all out there. Also you should stream the race on RUclips PLEASE Also add a Little more Postchecker Coverage like the Celebration to end it or something. I really wanted to see Kurt's reaction...
Can i just say i loved watching logano swerve ALMOST into Ky.Busch when he was on the apron. Especially a few weeks ago where the same thing happened and kyle didnt give logano any room to move bak up
yes on Larry Mac, NO NO NO on latarte, Jr and burton, those three voices are more annoying then Tony Romo on monday night football. My girlfriend never watches nascar heard their voices, OMG they are irritating.
This race was one of the best this season yet. Im just worried that they will start using the PJ1 on all tracks. That's one reason I don't watch drag racing much anymore.
@@bretmuldner yes it was, and I can give you a few reasons why. Great strategy, good battles all around the track, usually poor teams having good days (both Roush cars in the top 5 at one point. Heck yeah), and a great battle between Kyle and Joey in the final stage. Sure, without the final caution maybe the race rating would be a little lower, but not a good race? You need to look deeper than how many wrecks are happening or how close the leaders are together Bret.
Not a bad race overall, but most NASCAR fans are insufferable. They complain about everything, just be happy with what you have. There are sports that are in much worse shape, stop complaining about the dumbest things and hope that stock car racing doesn’t reach that point.
It was amazing to watch. The battle had been brewing for about 40+ laps before that. Was a cat and mouse game, weaving through lapped traffic. And they even pitted at the same time on final pit stops. Watching them both come off pit road was exciting (I was sitting by turn one.)
He took 4 tires, which was a big mistake in their own right. He needed a good points day which is a shame for him. As far as the racing goes, you saw clearly by the end of the race that drivers could catch the leader and pass them. Stage 1 never really is the most exciting time of the race, and never really has been. 🤷♂️
@@andrewbeaudoin7363 If you think it's stupid, then why are you watching this video, let alone commenting on it. Watch things you like. It's better for you.
Thanks to the dedicated Yellow flag driver the person who was gonna win had to restart next to the guys willing to do anything for the win luckily his brother took him to task. I hate restricted engines.(tapered spacers are restrictors)

This is not racing putting traction control compound down is not racing what a joke. The early days of nascar racing they relied on the drivers talent and good crew chief and team .
I agree the racing needs to get better but traction control compounds is not the answer. Kentucky speedway needs to be taken off the schedule if can't put together a better race. I want to see drivers talent the best of the best.
dumber than a bag of ..... yall fill in the blanks. yall no nothing of true racing just wanna see 50 wide into every corner for wrecks. typical simpletons
Everyone seems to forget (and I'm sure NASCAR does) that if Bubba Wallace doesn't spin out with five laps to go then Joey Logano wins this race going away by two to three seconds in a snoozefest. Basically the car in front has all the clean air and no one can reach him and no one can pass a car in front of them. NASCAR is the epitome of dead man walking.
Awards performance throughout the race instead of just at the end. Say someone led the whole race and blew an engine with 20 laps to go, they still earned points that reflected their early race performance.
I like it how one of the few races the package isn’t as spectacular people whine about how terrible it is. Shows how this community just attacks anything when they get the chance
Rigged.. Kurt had a fast car late.. his brother could have beat on him more but didnt. Jones stayed out of it. Not rigged a little bit.. more like have at it boys clean as they could be.
I will be a Dale Earnhardt Jr fan forever, but I'm not a fan of him overly hyping up the race. When he said drivers before stage racing was implemented would relinquish a spot easier because they mattered more, I did a double take (or hear). He said that after the first 10 laps of the race! C'mon, Dale.
@@nascage a lot of drivers have actually said that though, Suarez said the sport's environment has changed entirely in the few years he's been around it
NBC coverage feels old school. Great ticker, and the engine audio mix with the broadcasters is SPOT ON!! It reminds me of the old TNT and ESPN days.
I hate the ticker on the left side but the one on the top is perfect
Don’t forget the crowd cheers too
These kind of races are gonna get NASCAR back on the map. Awesome and wild finish. 👍

One of the best ever got out-raced by big bro. Unreal.
Reach up there and pull those belts tight one more time!!
What a race! A+
I can’t stop watching this, I must have watch this about 12 times already. Exciting every time.
Man that was exciting, LOVE late race restarts, it shakes it up so much
I had mixed emotions with Bubba being my driver. XD But even without that caution, it was still a great race.
Great highlights and awesome race, thank you NBC! 😀
Larry Mac gave the BEST command I've heard all year!!
Jr is the best at being a driver announcer...love it.
Better than Micheal Waltrip
Too bad I can't tell if it's Junior or Letarte talking xD
Jr is getting better at it, but Darrell Waltrip is my favorite though.
This was my first time visiting NASCAR race I loved it!! I was lucky to see such an awesome race. Great highlights here.
NASCAR put on a Great Race Show. Big Props to all the Speed Racers, good performance, Thanks Kentucky

Except for Phoenix and FRR but Phoenix was trash and FRR was still struggling with Chevy
Kurt is a past champion .
Randy Jones very true
Won it very early in his career too with Roush when they went back to back with roookies !
