Beautiful sung the heart of the gaels lives on throw their music that soothes the heart n soul calms the mind Alba gu brath 💙💙💙🏴🏴🏴🙏🙏🙏
What????? Margaret Stewart, probably the best sean-nòs Gaelic singer alive now, as well as being a musicologist and cultural researcher, singing a song of a great tradition-bearer from the late nineteenth century...is not "a good song"? You haven't a clue what you are talking about.
@@maxmarnau7019, please take it easy. Of course Margaret Stewart has a good voice. But this song sounds monotonously and lacks any melodious inspiration. So presumably she feels more carefree as a musicologist and a cultural researcher. A song text bearing a great tradition may be interesting to read for historical researcher. But a "good song" has always more "pepper" in its tune, if you have any clue about music. 😏
Must admit this brings tears too my eyes everytime 😢😢😢❤❤❤
Margaret Stewart. Voice of an angel.

Beautiful!
❤❤❤❤ amen
If one asks me: only the second piece up from 3:56 ( "Smeorach Chlann Domhnail" by Julie Fowlis) is actually a good song.
