so i just used forscan to unlock the door and alarm features so am i able to do the same for that? or will i have to take my stuff apart. i also have an 08 cvpi i also do have the click when i press the trunk button

You'll have to add the wire / pin to the ddm harness for trunk pop. The cvpi doesn't have that part of the harness.

What year is your crown Vic. I want to do this but mine is an 05.

Should be the same deal. Do you already have keyless entry working? If you click the trunk button and you hear a click, this will work for you without getting a new door module.
