Creek Loop - The Good Parts
7 Mile Ride Through Mt. Diablo State Park - Creek Loop
Very Easy - I'd say all levels can do this ride. I rode counter clockwise. The ride can be found on MTB Protect with parking at the Macedo Ranch Staging Area.
Parking is $6 or with a State Park Pass.
I'm really not an experienced rider, switched from Road Bikes to MTB recently and still getting used to it. Just wanted to show off this beautiful and fun ride through a few creeks and rolling hills in Diablo. Uphill parts are easy enough but I'm out of shape so I walked most steep parts. Cut those scenes. Ride takes about an hour and a half to two hours. On an ebike I bet you could do laps in 35 minutes. You'll see an elderly gentleman pull...

Do you still have the crown vic? If so, how’s it going? I’m actively working on building my 07.
Still have it. After I finished this I had a baby and then put air ride in it and redoing the subs for 2 24" monsters lol. Will post something eventually 😅
I accidentally spilled quite a bit of oil over my engine bay and the smell is still lingering is that alright?
so i just used forscan to unlock the door and alarm features so am i able to do the same for that? or will i have to take my stuff apart. i also have an 08 cvpi i also do have the click when i press the trunk button
You'll have to add the wire / pin to the ddm harness for trunk pop. The cvpi doesn't have that part of the harness.
@@knobleindustries8106i just did that and i still just get a click
How much for the beard ? The car is good as long as you do regular maintenance and pre maintenance. The only problem you will have is . You have to do wheel alignments and tire changes if you’re on the highway regular and the plastic parts under the hood crumbles like the polyurethane on sneakers from the heat .
Subsonic bass yea buddy
Thanks n God bless your videos! I’ve been struggling with alot oil leaking n smell ( car had oil leak before) but since I drove it to Mexico 18 he drive n roads are not best! Those huge humps are like super high so my car kept hitting n possibly worsened my leak elsewhere down under maybe?..
Dude I’m struggling trying to figure out what’s wrong with my car. When you had this car in your shop, did it made a random grinding noises that’s rpm dependent on that side of the adjuster that went out? It almost sounds like it’s coming from the bottom? Please response! I really need your input on this. I live in the middle of nowhere where and after replacing my rod bearing by myself I’m running into an issue that I think it’s the adjuster related. Thank you in advanced.
Master beard
it sounds like bad valve cover
Is it possible that blue smoke is coming out of your exhaust pipe if the whole valve cover is wrecked and leaking oil and not only the gasket?
Will this issue cause a P2C57?
No it doesn't need a new turbo Jeff. YOU can replace the diafram actuator so don't be a dk and give RUclips viewers PERHAPS ANOTHER alternative
Thank you, new turbo is 2900 without the labor. 2c57 code on my countrymen 2016 all4 S. Hear's hoping dealer agrees
What codes did the video address? The video is nearly worthless without them. I’m surprised that was overlooked.
Ju da Mann
Most likely some oil on your engine, probably spilled some oil when filling, when the motor gets hot, you gonna smell the oil, especially when you have your heater on, because the air comes from outside, tru your engine in the car. That is 99% of the reasons
Or the valve cover is leaking oil...like in the video.
I had a 02 oxygen sensor replace yesterday on my 2011 dodge journey and now I have smoke coming from under my hood what do I do now can a auto shop repair it
current daily driver, awesome. bought used at 88,000 miles , If you can DIY , then they can be replaced (there is help on internet), the problem is people abuse them, N55 ,N52 engines are pretty reliable, change your oil yourself and save money. OFHG is bad and is very easy to replace in your driveway. Lots of room in the engine. You are handy with tools, wrenching, you can maintain it , only replace with OEM parts, synthetic oil change every 7000 miles , and keep on top of the oil level;, check it frequently. find a reliable Independent mechanic in your area, join the forums, and find one, Engine choices : good ones are N52 and N55 or later N58. stay away from the V 8. currently at 106,500 miles. parts replaced: preventive maintenance. Canadian dollars: (Reins OEM) valve cover and gasket $ 400 parts.(it was leaking), original water pump, and thermostat $175+275.. Upper radiator hose $65 . and OEM coolant tank, cap $ 175. OEM tension pulley and serpentine belt $ 125 -$45. My independent mechanic labor was $450 . I changed my own Coolant tank and upper radiator hose so saved some. DIY changed my own tension pulley,:) total parts and labor $ 1,710. CDN dollars. Stealerships (dealers)avoid them at all costs. It is heavy fun to drive ..... cheers. thanks for uploading....
What!!! 3 grand?! You are such a drama queen! :-) You 're like a used car salesman trying to sell someone a lemon haha! Bro stop with the insanity, you're worse than Biden!!! :-) None of that is major whatsoever. If you want to charge some sucker 3 grand be my guest but stop with the exaggerations... can you say POOOOOOOOOORING COLLANT OR SSSSOOOOAKED IN OIL :-) I just like to hear the sound if it. Dude you need some excitement in your life go ride a rolley coaster!!
thats an excellent install, i really like how you mounted that!
My 2010 camaro is doing the same i get burning oil smell and also see oil on right side of engine the left side completely dry the longer i drive the car the stronger the smell gets.
should I take them out for my sub?
Take what out
Time for the bass
Right?! Still working on the baffle for my 24" subs
Do you recommend siless max?
Yes
Did you seal up the flaps?
Yes. Trunk / vehicle has been sealed up. Just haven't posted on it in a long time. It's getting a manifold for 2 24" IB subs and a full 3 way front stage.
@knobleindustries8106 that's gonna get down forsure. Can't wait to see it.
I'd say this is totally the wrong approach to the issue. I had this exact problem with my hood switch. I disconnected the microswitches and shorted the switch wires so as far as the car is concerned the hood is always closed, even when it's open. But the point is now I can change gear. No cutting, and no soldering. The video is not the way to approach things like this. Totally none standard.
Glad that works for you. Deleting the entire function of the hood switch wasn't an option for this customer.
My not have code yet ! But I run the test with ista and said one of four for not ok ! I’m planing to rebuild it
I'm planning on getting one for my truck, but I want to use magnetic mounts. Any suggestions?
i mounted string magnets to the roof of my 4runner in the back and cut small holes to run the threaded posted through my headliner and mounted the brackets to those and ive had no issue. and i do a lot of offroading so its always a bumpy right and ive still had no issues.
I have this same plan in the works in my jaguar xf supercharged. Just got to find some car audio place that knows what they are doing because not many use this set up around my area.
Freaking awesome. Hey how loud is this thing at the lowest volume?
It only has one volume. It's LOUD. Probably 3-4x louder than the regular horn. Scares people even in their cars.
@@knobleindustries8106lol, I thought you are able to turn it to the lowest volume. I don’t like being loud, but how loud is it when it’s at the lowest?
If you were gonna cut a hole that big, why not run four of those MFs in an A-shaped baffle?
noted for future reference 😭
@@potatojake197 👀👀👀👀👀 You better post a walkaround and demo vid, boyo.
@@Drunken_Hamster Before then I'll make a different vid. About to buy a Honda Odyssey and put two of these 18" subs in a sealed box
How are you gonna handle protecting the cones and surrounds from debris and the elements?
but why do this disaster to the car by putting subwoofers? make a box like everyone else, you can put a single 12 sub even in a closed case if you don't have space and it will sound a thousand times better and louder than what you did
I've been running "boxes" for 30 years. This is far louder on less power than any box setup I've ever had. Read the comments. I'm in the infinite baffle community.
nice Vic
That looks sick!
Thanks! Full build walk-through coming
awesome!
Thank you!
I regret buying a bmw so bad. Had a kid so I needed to upgrade my 2 door vehicle was planning on buying a suv but a friend of mine talked me into buying a used bmw. What a waste of hard earn money. Should of went with the 4Runner instead. 🤦🏻
There amazing just need to make sure you take care of them a lot more than other cars and that the previous owner took care of it
Could happen to any car sucks
Hey I have a fault code of 271c any idea what it is exactly and location???
Could have been way louder with a box, I have 2 10s in my vic and it beats everything, I'm doing 3 15s next, waiting for my new box to get done
Louder. How do you know how loud it is lmfao
🤣🤣
IB setups are for using the full sub bass range of frequencies. It may not be “loud” as you would put it, but the bandwidth would be amazing. My goal in life is to have a sound system in a car that’s from 20hz-20khz with a relatively flat bandwidth.
This set up is probably around 120 db at 15 hz. Good luck trying to get that out of a small box.
Ok happens to me too. But I just replaced my whole front end. So only gears 1-5 and reverse stay flashing when I’m on them
How did you hide the cables? Under the seats?
Ran them under the carpet
@@knobleindustries8106it’s easy?
Does that exhaust vanos makes clunking noise while the engine is operating?
I have a 2012 dodge challenger.. it only smells like oil when i have it in sport mode at high speeds.. any solutions?
That my issue as well on my 2014 300S did you find out the issue
Hello s85-friends! Nice Video ! There is a Problem with my s85 And i don’t know exactly what i should do. Both sides are with error code: camshaft adjustment too late and the car have Engine lights and with missfires when the rpm is in idle and Max 3.500rpm Blocked from the car.. i dont know what way will be the best.
Did you finger out what was the issue ?
It’s not any car it’s any BMW if you ain’t leasing it 2-3 years and trading it in my advice would be never get a BMW learned the hard way. To much plastic under the hood
Does the smoke come out from the back exhaust in this case ?
I just had the vanos actuator units rebuilt but they didn’t tighten the only screw holding the caps to the cylinders. Does anyone know how much torque is needed to securely lock that screw?
The tradeoff from a boxed driver is super lows and a flatter response (similar dbs across many more frequencies)
Hey Eric. Enjoyed the vid and channel. Do you have any advice on vanos adjustment unit for E63? Should I have both banks replaced or rebuilt? Thanks in advance
You can replace both banks if you want to. If you're able to locate the issue then just replace that side.
the only real downside about these is that you can't get decent/lower volume bass without everyone around hearing it quite loud aswell i think
True. It tends to be very loud outside the car.
That's the whole point
@@JeffMcDuffie72MeridianGate no, the point of a setup like this is actually to have more "enclosure space" than you'd ever be able to get in that vehicle, with the added benefit of actually not really taking up space if you do it to fuck everyone you're doing it for the wrong reasons
@@BH4x0rthe point for me is making others here thunder
@@BH4x0ronly one guy in my area when i was a teen he had a black Harley Davidson ford truck two of these set up in the truck somehow driving by the movies and you could hear him from blocks area i was like wtf. So yeah i want them for that effect if i wanted to turn them up for it.
😂 I popped my hood last night to check the oil level, but than I just went to take a shower instead. In the morning the hood switch wouldn’t let me shift. Lol. Thanks for your video very detailed
Great set up! I am thinking to do a set up like this. I wonder though does any outside noise come through the speaker when its off from the outside world? like what is it like on the freeway at 70mph playing music and not playing music? Any weird or interesting pressure issues? Thanks again for the video!
It's quieter. There's only thin sheet metal back there so installing a thick baffle and sound deadener plus speakers made road noise less.
@@knobleindustries8106 Interesting thanks. I would expect some outside noise or air turbulence form under the car to transfer through the cone. No distortion on the freeway? Any downside to this setup? Im going to do it in my Impreza wagon. So no trunk separating the airspace is why I ask. Using a Single 18 or 21 maybe.
Zero issue with baffling or road noise. Trust me. The magnet holds the speaker pretty firmly in place. You cannot believe the frequency response and flat curve of the speaker. It's pretty much flat from 10hz up to 100
@@knobleindustries8106 Amazing! I want the warm and low Bass. The IB setup seems accurate as well. I cant stop shopping for subs. Ill make some RUclips vids about it as well.
Definitely check out the HT18 by stereo Integrity. $200 each. I have two 24" custom HS24 subs going in soon tho.
