      hi there, I'm almost finished with this pattern chair, and I'm coming across a possible problem. Are both sides equal, as in 24 inches of unknotted cord? I wish you could show a better image of it.

    Wow! Amazing! The details like the wood slots and the spice rack! So well thought off! Love it. Love the color you chose too. I think your baby was trying to let you know that he is confused because imaginary friends do not exist. 😂 Bless you 🙏 and your family.

    I have a ton of 5mm macrame twine that was given to me. How would I adjust the pattern for this, and would Thicker twine work?

    wondering if I could make this chair for my granddaughter... 8-10 years old. Could I maybe use 2/3 of the lengths??

      @DIYOnTheHouse  Месяц назад

      I would consider doing full size - we all grow - and it would allow adults to use it as well.

    Its Really Awesome ❤️ I would love to try it out. But what weight it can carry? Can i cut d end cords in straight and hang it to the rings, so that a small baby can sleep in it?

    Roughly how much would it cost to make this project start to finish?

    • @DIYOnTheHouse
      @DIYOnTheHouse  3 года назад +2

      The string is around $20, the wood and hardware probably around $10.

  • @vivianbrown5447
    @vivianbrown5447 2 года назад +1

    Love the video and will attempt to make it. However, when finishing the sides by attaching the trimmed strings to the ring, I would have preferred the word use of "noose" to possibly be replaced by perhaps "hitch" or "wrap".... it just left a negative feel to the project in my opinion. Otherwise, can't wait to try to make this! Thank you so much for sharing this video with the world! : )

    • @joepeters129
      @joepeters129 2 года назад

      I believe “binding” would be the correct term. I agree “noose” has a grating effect. Great tutorial nonetheless!

    • @DIYOnTheHouse
      @DIYOnTheHouse  2 года назад +1

      A noose is a loop at the end of a rope in which the knot tightens under load and can be loosened without untying the knot. The term used in the video follows the definition exactly.

    Not a bad video. might want to think about keeping your intro relevant and concise and you need to use metric measurements. Imperial awkward and obsolete. Otherwise, not bad.
