hi there, I'm almost finished with this pattern chair, and I'm coming across a possible problem. Are both sides equal, as in 24 inches of unknotted cord? I wish you could show a better image of it.
Wow! Amazing! The details like the wood slots and the spice rack! So well thought off! Love it. Love the color you chose too. I think your baby was trying to let you know that he is confused because imaginary friends do not exist. 😂 Bless you 🙏 and your family.
Omg this is amazing! I’ve been trying to find something like this for a long time too, so I completely understand. Thank you for this comprehensive tutorial!
Its Really Awesome ❤️ I would love to try it out. But what weight it can carry? Can i cut d end cords in straight and hang it to the rings, so that a small baby can sleep in it?
this video is great! I don't know how to calculate measurements in inches. I would like to know how many meters of rope were used, please. I thank the attention. Hugs from 🇧🇷
Love the video and will attempt to make it. However, when finishing the sides by attaching the trimmed strings to the ring, I would have preferred the word use of "noose" to possibly be replaced by perhaps "hitch" or "wrap".... it just left a negative feel to the project in my opinion. Otherwise, can't wait to try to make this! Thank you so much for sharing this video with the world! : )
A noose is a loop at the end of a rope in which the knot tightens under load and can be loosened without untying the knot. The term used in the video follows the definition exactly.

Not a bad video. might want to think about keeping your intro relevant and concise and you need to use metric measurements. Imperial awkward and obsolete. Otherwise, not bad.

Thanks so much! 😊
I have a ton of 5mm macrame twine that was given to me. How would I adjust the pattern for this, and would Thicker twine work?
Maybe just a tighter pattern.
Very cool! Some paracord books will help you clean up those rings!
Yes - I have gotten much better with practice!
Exactly what ive been looking for! Thank you!
Glad I could help!
wondering if I could make this chair for my granddaughter... 8-10 years old. Could I maybe use 2/3 of the lengths??
I would consider doing full size - we all grow - and it would allow adults to use it as well.
Thank you so much for making this swing chair. I also have been looking for a pattern to make one of these. Thank you again!
Glad it was helpful!

Me too 😊
Glad you like it!
Hi, can I ask how much length of cord you ended up using overall/all added up together? Thanks for the video!
I used a little over 600 feet of cord.

Very nice hanging chair 🙏
Thank you so much 😊
Would a 36 inch rod work instead of the 38 inch?
It would work fine!
this video is great!

Understand! Here is a website that helps you convert www.rapidtables.com/convert/length/inch-to-meter.html
@@DIYOnTheHouse Ur GR8! 🤩
How many did you use for these??
That is very nice idea. Looks great👍😀
Thanks 👍
Roughly how much would it cost to make this project start to finish?
The string is around $20, the wood and hardware probably around $10.

I believe “binding” would be the correct term. I agree “noose” has a grating effect. Great tutorial nonetheless!
A noose is a loop at the end of a rope in which the knot tightens under load and can be loosened without untying the knot. The term used in the video follows the definition exactly.

Very nice dear
Thank you so much 😊
How long did this project take?
The first designing one too forever, after trial and error, my next chairs only take a couple of hours!
Thanks.
You're welcome!
Please do a hammock without wood. Like this chair, but bigger. Thanks. Love your channel
Great suggestion! I will start dreaming and designing!
Please make adjustable folding swing lounger set
Always thinking of new things - I will start brainstorming!
00:00:57 30 pieces each 20 foot long!? I'm new to macrame and I would never have guessed you need so much!
It is crazy how much it takes!
Hii I'm from India it's looking so comfy please share details for baby
Not sure I would know how to make one that small!!
A D ring might work better.
Oh, good idea!
On this hammock chair , you only mention 2 rings but I notice you actually need 3 rings. I only realized it when I got to end of the chair.
👍🥰🙏🤗
👍😄
I made one but not satisfied with it
Bummer
IT SURE NEAD THE DOUBLE AMOUNT OF ROPES UNLESS ITS A KID CHAIR
👍😀

I'll keep in mind.
I vote for inches and feet. They are not awkward or obsolete.
