Love Chuck 70's. Once you own a pair you'll never want to go back to the regular ones. The eyelets on the 70's is made from nickel. On the cheaper version they are made with aluminum.

That’s cool you like the 70s version chucks. I personally still like the Chuck ones They can be comfortable if you add a Dr. Scholl’s in them and now they have a loop for the tongue to prevent it going sideways.

Bought a pair of black ones yesterday. The ankle logo is stitched leather patch with "70" below the star. What's the difference with the one you reviewed?

In 2019, the 70s were updated. The updates included the leather patch, a Poron footbed (found underneath the removable insole), and some minor tweaks. Source: I have both versions

Chuck Taylor 70’s are narrow at the toes, i had to return them , I’m 9.5 uk , should I go uk 10 ,

Do you have an issue with the tongue sliding off to the side and know how to fix it? Nice vid btw!

I don't ever really have an issues with the tongue, I tie my laces around my ankles and I find it holds the shoe in place. and I put the laces through the very top lace loops so the laces don't slide. Thanks
