Do these have felt glued to the bottom of the soles? Those of us here in the USA get our Classic Chucks with ugly Felt glued to 2/3 of the bottom sole of our Classic Chucks. Converse (aka NIke) does this cheap move to avoid paying more in Tariff’s when importing the finished shoes into the USA after they are made overseas by classifying them as “slippers” instead of “sneakers” - at the cost of us, the consumer. Since you guys are our neighbors to the North I wonder if that’s just a US thing, or a North America thing (jealous if you get no icky felt!) I love that green colorway of the Chucks :) So now I have the dilemma everyday, do I put on classic Chuck or Chuck 70 out of the closet... Agreed with you though the Classic Chuck is the Go-To Gym shoe 💪🏼
I wish they still had the Classic Red White & Blue Ankle patches on the 70’s like these, makes them look more true to Era with that ankle patch plus the black retro heel tab they use now (1st generation Chuck 70’s had a similar “Converse All*Star” heel tab that the Classic Chuck’s have now but in white lettering on black background) now they just use a boring black and white leather ankle patch that is certainly more “premium” but compromising the roots and DNA of the shoe. Nice Video, I bet these are holding up really well :)

Super late but I'm a size 10 and these are pretty long still a size down. I would recommend a full size down if you want more of a snug fit with the converse

144757c were released first. Insole is half glued, cant take em out and the chuck taylor at the back branding is thicker
