Loyal Dog Pirata Refuses To Leave Hospital After Owner Dies

Pirata a faithful dog is keeping a lonely vigil at the hospital where his owner died after surgery.It’s been three months since his owner died during surgery, but this dog wanders the hospital’s corridors in Argentina refusing to leave the hospital.The dog last saw his owner leaving room 404 at the Río Cuarto San Antonio De Padua Hospital three months ago. And since then, he has been searching for his owner, waiting for him to come back and even refuse to leave and keeps running back to room 404 where the pair last saw each other.
The dog has now been nicknamed Pirata, which means Pirate, due to its black spots around his eyes. According to a local newspaper, the hospital employees finally decided to adopt it and make it the institution’s mascot.Staff, patients and visitors keep the dog warm and fed.

Where's the owner's family? Why can't they take care of Pirata? I hope someone find a forever home for him... not in the hospital...

I know it is not intentional, but this is actually a cruel video. If someone adopted him, he could grieve his owners death with someone who loves him. And he'd heal and love again. Instead, he is filmed still 'looking' for his deceased owner.
