That noise is the brake accumulators building pressure. This hydraulic brake system functions a lot like air brakes in the sense that you lose pressure everytime you apply the brakes, but that pressure is also regenerated automatically when it gets down to a certain pressure. The parking brake also applies automatically in the event all braking pressure is lost.
"2013 CE 200" so I'm guessing it still has the Maxxforce 7 in it? Think they quit making Maxxforce engines in 2015 and that's when the 6.7 cummins replaces it.
If the system is snoozed and not in the deactivatable state, the E-Exit signal will still pulsate if the RVT is pressed when wired like how it is in this bus, correct?
@@Undercoverelevator212-s2n Also if the button is being held while the key is being cycled, the system waits until the button is released before it recognizes an ignition on state. This is another tamperproof feature.
It's a shame that the worst bus in your fleet is wheelchair accessible. If I ever ended up riding on a bus from your fleet if I ever visited your state I would be riding in some thing better than this.
Your videos are awesome to watch keep the videos coming
I thank you so much for posting the rear door open recording that’s awesome thank you so much.
Adam why does the hydraulic break make that sound when you push on it like at 1:48

OK thankyou Adam I love your videos
Not sure why but on an IC it sounds so amplifed as opposed to a C2.

Lol everybody knows.
@@BusMaster99 yeah of course they do. That was kinda a rhetorical question my guy.
@@chrisholland2016 Ok. And yes, this sadly does still have a MAXXFORCE 7 and likely always will.

Yes.
@@BusMaster99 That's what I thought. Makes a good tamper feature too so the driver knows that a kid is pressing the button.

@@BusMaster99 Ah. Does it have a tamper message or not?
@@Undercoverelevator212-s2n No.
I watched a few videos of 2016 icces from 7 years ago, now your a bus driver?
Yep!
why are there two buttons?
One for the old IC Leave No Student Behind system, the other for Child Check-Mate which replaced it.
@@BusMaster99 but why do they need the 2nd one when it already has it?
@@edwardcole4623 That was for the old system. Why they didn't remove the button is beyond me, but it doesn't do anything now.

Thankfully the best bus in my fleet is also a handicap. It's a shiny 2021 Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 40ft long.
@@BusMaster99 so is it a full sized bus with a lift at the very back or the very front?
@@JordanLoweElevaToursCanada Back. We don't have any with it in the front.
@@BusMaster99 so the wheelchair lift is in the back like in my 2017 CE and 2010 Thomas C2 that you've seen in my previous videos?
@@JordanLoweElevaToursCanada Yep.
Ew maxxjunk 7. Nice bus though.
