Tom, please do an extended video on the history and heritage of A Lange & Sohne. I'll probably never own one of the these exquisite pieces of horological art and would love to learn more. Well done with this video. I thoroughly enjoyed each of the 8 minutes !
Yes please, more of this. How many times, with the best will in the world, have we managed to cross-thread conventionally sized screws? This girl has probably joined the company on finishing her education and is now doing some of the most rewarding work imaginable. Their use of existing dial layouts to incorporate different functions is inspired. Stunning pieces from a company with a troubled past.
Great Video. You forgot to mention that During the period of Soviet occupation from 1945 and from 1949 in the German Democratic Republic (GDR), seven remaining watch factories and suppliers in Glashütte were nationalized and merged in 1951 to form the state-owned enterprise VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe (GUB). Only in 1990 Lange und Söhne was refounded.
I’m sure the general consensus would love more of this type of content, but please consider making sure the resolution is available in 4K (and/or at least in 1080p Premium). Beautiful movements deserve to be in beautiful 4K!
Honestly, if I could afford a high end watch ! I’d choose this company all day long. I love the design and history. Alas. I’m a dreamer😒 Thank you for this post. Really enjoyed this.🎉
Very nice. Quite incredible that such tiny items can be put together to create these fantastic time-telling machines. The music made me think of Deckard taking a break from "retiring" those pesky Nexus 6's.
Yep! Nobody cares about the cheapest, affordable, underrated, overlooked watches. We want to see the stuff dreams are made of, the Pateks, the Rolexes, the APs, the Langes, the Omegas, the IWCs, you name it.
Uh, an un-sassy Tom explaining the intricate history offer honorable watchmaker? I really like it, Sir. Regardless, I will have a shot of Jager every time you fully pronounce the company name - Salut 🥃
Sir , I have 6 automatic watches, 5 Seiko or one Invicta, I wear them a lot of biking or cycling, will there be any problem with the movement of the watch?
They are amazing watches. But I do feel that as all content makers become more successful, there's a general market move to make us, the consumers, move up too. A few years ago the really big names weren't mentioned so much, and everyone had loads of fun and enjoyment, in the middle field. Now those watches are average, and you need to buy a £30K to £70K watch to be properly in the hobby. As BP says, there's a degree of price de-sensitization going on here. I wonder how healthy this is. During these tough times I am guessing that people are selling watches they bought during "the tulip times" because they need the money now for real things. Perhaps consumerism and capitism aren't our friends now in this hobby?
His name was written Adolph first of all. Second, that's how the writing of the logo was pretty much from the beginning. But if you want it differently, maybe found your own company and name it whatever you like.
Yes please! Give us more of this!!! Thanks Tom!

My sentiments entirely
This is the kind of video we need from Watchfinder Chanel!

Thank You Tom, more like this Please. That was a wonderful video to view, and what a stunning L & S watch 👍 Au
That was fabulous. Thanks for this. Definitely, more of these would be appreciated.
I love these type of videos. Keep on doing them on other watches. Very good macro. Truly the best.
MORE MORE MORE. This was so tranquil and relaxing to watch.
Beautiful production. Thank you.
We live in a digital age but I never get tired of seeing precision mechanical craftsmanship.
Yes! Please more of such beautiful content ❤
Great video. This is a good direction for the channel.
Brilliant, would very much like to see more content like that.
I fell asleep for about 10 seconds due to the music, but at least when I woke up I was staring at horological heaven. Nice job!

If possible, more content like this would be great. Btw. good choice of music.
Great to see this channel still thriving.

Nice video and beautiful watch.
Keep doing these videos! 👍🏻
Beautiful!!
Thank you!
The three-quarter plate just snicks into place with no fidgeting. That's precision . . . and a steady hand.
Great video. Very interesting. I appreciate the brief historical summary. Well done.
Would love to see more videos about German watchmakers and brands from Glashütte
How wonderful to watch. Mesmerizing!
I would like to spend a big chunk of my life with seeing this content, lol.
More please

Fascinating, can you do this for other watch brands please.

Excellent content. Long format is so much better.

Please show the making of the Odysseus
Yes, more like this 😊
Lovely watch, to be sure! But I didn't hear the end of the video because I had to mute the mortuary music while the movement was being built. Cheers!

Love this content muchly!
Love to see more of these types of video, maybe an indie brand next?
A lange better than Patek if you ask me!
love it
Well done on the pronunciations. Great video on a very desirable watch.
Yeah, this, this, this and more of this
Love this
Fab Tom! Love to hear your take on Pateks latest offering ?
Another excellent video.
Awesome watches. Alas, I couldn't afford a service, let alone the actual timepiece.
Can you guys do more watch reviews like you did previously. Macro filming. Crazy watches. I miss that. Not just video from the brands own websites.
Loved this video of an absolute icon in chronometry. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am a mere mortal. My grail is a Zenith, and I already own it. (bought it two days ago:) :) :)
love it!
How did you know this was my Grail watch 😂
Extreme Dial assymetry triggers my ocd. Beautiful movement though.❤
Waow beautiful💯👍
Very cool.
Moar!
yes more
Grail brand.
Your channel is a true source of inspiration and learning. Thank you for your warmth and light that you bring into our lives!☯️🍭🐱
Sir , I have 6 automatic watches, 5 Seiko or one Invicta, I wear them a lot of biking or cycling, will there be any problem with the movement of the watch?
I'd love to see you demonstrate your editorial independence from Richemont by making a similar video about Patek.
That macro didn't do the lange favors!

This channel just stuck why not try to expand to reviewing luxury items like bags home yacht cars with you walking not just talking hands
U know San Martin
How come it’s A. Lange on the dial rather than Adolf Lange?
His name was written Adolph first of all. Second, that's how the writing of the logo was pretty much from the beginning. But if you want it differently, maybe found your own company and name it whatever you like.
