  • Finnair/Norra AY861 (aircraft ATR 72-500) flight from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) to Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT). The flight time was 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Gothenburg (Göteborg) is the second largest city in Sweden and the home of Volvo cars.
The ATR 72 aircrafts are operated by Norra (Nordic Regional Airlines) on behalf of Finnair and they are used on short regional routes.
The ATR 72 is a twin-engine turboprop, short-haul regional airliner developed and produced in France and Italy by aircraft manufacturer ATR, a joint venture formed by French aerospace company Aérospatiale (now Airbus) and Italian aviation conglomerate Aeritalia (now Leonardo S.p.A.). During the mid-1980s, the ATR 72 was developed as a stretched variant of the ATR 42. On 27 October 1989, Finnair became the first airline to operate the ATR 72 type in revenue service.
