Excellent trip report. My only experience with FinnAir was from Heathrow to Helsinki, after almost 23 hours in the air (Sydney to London via Bangkok). I was extremely tired but I quite enjoyed the Heathrow-Helsinki flight in terms of nice food and service.
Thanks! Finnair is a great airline, but their ATRs can be quite boring. 😅

They do their job pretty well, but can be quite boring, the most exciting part of flying these turboprops is take off and landing where you can properly feel it :)
I really agree a very nice plane, but they should not use these planes on such long flights.

What did you think of the plane?
In flight, this plane feels like a big plane. It flies gently and at a low altitude, thanks to this it is possible to better view and take video of the earth ✈️🌍
@@mikhailavia Yeah the plane is steady and fine, but I feel like they are a bit slow and "boring" as it's no entertainment

Ouch, that’s an unlucky equipment change 😂 I always try to avoid the ATR but luckily my hometown in northern Finland is usually serviced by the A320 fleet. Fantastic job - really like your content👍
