Echo and the Bunnymen had a UK number 8 hit with this track in 1983. It was the second single released from their 'Porcupine' album
What a fucking great piece of music !
Awesome track!
Great Song
Best Voice
Best Band...Forever Echo and the Bunnymen😍
Great track! Stands the test of time!
Still sounds as fresh as the first time my soul was captured by this haunting tune. Mu mu mustard!
Music like this should be made compulsory in the present schooling cariculum
These sorts of bands are timeless, the music was just that good.
Best band of the Eighties and forever
Just brilliant
Tandori-flavoured Bunnymen classic. Still sounds fucking great.
in the 80's use to love this song!! black night club, we are all wearing black with spiky puffy hair , wearing pointy high black boots that can kill a cockroach in a corner and a spike belt.eyes painted black, big mirrors on the walls ,we are dancing looking in the mirror, dancing with our selfs you see ,back then they didn't call us goths .there was no such thing as goths back in the 80's. they use to call us fucking punks, or the ones who didn't hate us called us new wave, but most of people hated us,but we didn't give a fuck
Absolutely brilliant description of our youth ....class of 1980 and proud of my music heritage ✊🏽
"in the 80's use to love this song!" So you don't anymore? I'm kidding I know you do LOL
Brilliant tune!

I sure love too hear ian mcculloch's voice and the 80's had great music from london like clash, new order, depeche mode, morrisey along smiths, david bowie, culture club, wham george michael, alarm, robert smith cure etc.
SIMPLE MINDS, ULTRAVOX, TALK TALK ......just to name a few more
Michael, you forgot U2....when they were Brilliant!!!!! back then, BIG COUNTRY, Ultravox, The Stranglers, INXS, Tears for Fears and yes many many more. What a GREAT!!!! era of music.
The smiths where from Manchester, as where new order, London no, north west yes, then came the 90s north west beat the whole world
A good few of them weren't from London.
To use an outdated term used by the cool kids of the millennium - this was an EPIC track.

The Cure's A Forrest has the best intro lol

Love love love this Song.
1985's "Rage in the Badlands" skateboard contest video brought me here (Steve Caballero run).
Wasnt a big fan but loved this track. Takes us all back to when life had an edge. When off-centre was accepted. At least in certain places.
Sue l completely agree with what you are saying. Different times and different people.

Hélène Clergue bin non, quelle merde, 1983-1985 reste si prochain mais si lointain
Like the Who they got the wrong record deal and are nearly written out of music history
I guess I'm going to have to get off the radar, ie off the internet, and good old school filming and picture taking . Na tha fatte translates to "beat that suck".
