a real shame they outright killed him instead of adding to the story, or even having him do nothing, but occasionally pop into mission dialogue. The voice actor left, though, and I think Bungo knew it wouldn't be the same, so it makes sense

Back in the day, when I was brand new to the game, my brother took a warlock, and I took a Hunter, well, we went to see Cayde, and he said the “warlock, i know you do, whatever it is you do, but if you’re ever in the field, and you don’t know something, ask a Hunter, there’s no shame in asking help” We left the game, forsaken came out, we didn’t played it back then, we came back with beyond light. I played forsaken, and... Well, my brother is still asking me questions about destiny, funny enough.
