Why on earth do you need to completely disconnect the motor? To anyone watching, you can EASILY change the tires on this scooter without having to disconnect the motors.
yeah but not for the very first time
Dont know about you but my first time was changing tires on my Wolf Warrior X. Not even remotely difficult.
Good to know because I would rather not mess with those wires
I just got a flat on my x & watched this video & thought to myself “there is no way I want to mess with those wires” so took it to a scooter shop to get fixed, that doesn’t sell Kaabo’s.. I hope they don’t watch this video for reference & fuck it up….lol
@Wheresmybeer Adam How did the repair go? I've got a flat on my X and I'm very wary about doing myself. Thinking of taking it to a local shop myself.
Yes more videos of the mantis
I went to go change my tyre this morning, seen this tutorial and immediately felt sick 🤒 lol now we are disconnecting motors to change a tyre 😮
Need a detailed video of how to un do the phase wires from the pin connector
More videos of Kaabo Mantis King GT please!! 🙏🙏🥹
Hi Gino, we understand! As we have a variety of scooters, we put out a variety of videos, but we always appreciate feedback like this!
NO NEED TO MESS WITH WIRES for the rear on my scooter.... For those doing it on the Kabo Wolf Warrior GT. Everything else was spot on. She's good to go back on the street! I would have saved at least 40-50 minutes not removing the bolts to access the wiring. Read the comments first!!!!
I tried changing the tube after a pinch flat on the rear tire, and the most impossible part isn’t actually the tube itself, it’s putting the axle with the washers back onto the frame, and I found it requires three people as, with the washers on, you must pull one of the suspension arms for the axle to actually fit in because the washers make the wheel not fit in on its own
oh god, I am having this problem right now. Idk three people that can help either. fuck! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE design.
@@AMP3083official ok. I actually realized a fix a while ago of a super tiny RUclips channel. Near the big axel screw that connects the two swing arms together, there is another, smaller screw that connects the suspension to the swing arms. You need to unscrew that bit slightly before trying to take the wheel off/put it on, and it makes the connection smooth as butter. Just make sure to tighten it again before you ride
@@Aviator9223 Well, I'm trying to put the wheel back on and I'm actually stuck at the point where I'm trying to unscrew that smaller screw you're talking about (I also saw it on another channel). The reason why I'm stuck is because I need another 6mm hex wrench to hold one screw in place while turning the other screw (you already know they are connected). But I'm anticipating doing it because it feels like I might bend the wrench, so hopefully it doesn't happen. I'll be going to the hardware store to get another wrench.
How was it on your end? Was there any struggle?
@@AMP3083official not that I remember? Although I think I know what you mean about not wanted to bend the Allen wrenches. The multi tool they give is pretty crappy but otherwise it shouldn’t be too bad with mid quality tools. Oh also I just remembered, all the screws come with LOC-TITE from the factory, so they will require a ton of force to take off the first time when you break that seal. From then on though it should be super easy.
@@Aviator9223 Ok cool. I've already sprayed it with WD40, hope that will make it easier. I've already spent money to buy a hex set just for this ridiculous project, so I'm not spending anymore for a heat gun. Wish I could say I have another plan but all I have is a hope and prayer.
it's like for every soul puncture I have to disconnect the engine and open the deck?
Same more videos for the Mantis King GT please.
how am I going to open the deck every time there is a defect?
Do I really have to remove the cable and the rim from the motor? This all seems unnecessary
The 1 downside of hub motors, changing tires...
After watching this, I will not be purchasing this scooter, ever.
This looks like a headache. I will never buy this scooter.
You don’t have to do this. Just remove the tire and brake caliper and bam it’s all split rim from there. This is just the “proper” way
