Probably the clearest instructional Mantis tyre change vid on YT! Thank you! Just a couple of quick question... No loctite on the 6 motor screws?? And the wheel nut had red loctite, I've only got blue... will that be sufficent???
Blue locktite should be fine. Blue locktite is made to be removable with hand tools but still secure nuts usually you’ll use this locktite on bolts or nuts that’s made to me removed on parts that are require servicing. Red locktite on the other hand is made for more of a permanent hold like structural bolts suspension and frame bolts or heavy duty industrial bolts and was made that you’ll have to heat up to 500 degrees to loosen them. Just apply a little on the edge, when you tighten it back in a rotational manner, the loctite will spread across the nut and the threading. Hope this information is helpful.
I need to change the rear brake rotor on mine as I caught it on a kerb. I got the wheel off but the 3 little screws that hold the kick plate on on the rear are being a pain, the 2 outer ones are so tight they soon rounded off. Is the motor wire definitely located under here?

Around the same time taken for tire replacement jobs on Cruiser and the Mantis Pro. It depends on how you see it. We would still prefer to change the tubeless tire once and not worry about it for a long time rather than constantly replacing tires.
Hi, thanks for the video, pretty clear and useful. Im looking to open the rear motor and see if there is something wrong, cause my kaabo mantis 10 single 800w has a noisy sound coming from The rear motor. Is not the brake, or the rotor screws (there are no contact points that could make the sound) could be the axis or the motor, and im not sure how to open it easily, regards !!
@xi-sky I've never heard of those, but I just did a goggle search and they look interesting. I guess I'd have to find out what size to use for the Mantis V2.
Tubeless tires are harder to remove but last longer w/o airleak once installed. But if I apply Armor Dilloz tire sealant to a tubed tire, would that make it last just as long as a tubeless tire ?
Hi Michael, It wouldn't last longer than a tubed tire. A tubed tire is always going to be more prone to punctures than a tubeless tire due to the soft inner tube that is inside the wheel. A tire sealant acts as a temporary preventive solution to the root problem, which is inner tube getting punctured inside of the wheel, usually not a result from an exterior object. If a sharp object is able to puncture a tubeless tire, it will be able to puncture the outer layer of a tubed tire - Sealant does not have the ability to seal up a puncture from an outer tire. To give you some insights, we shipped out more tubed tires for the Mantis in the past 3 months then the tubeless tires for the EMOVE Cruiser for the whole year combined.
Great video! I do wish some of the steps were a little more detailed, particularly the reseating rims steps where they're only a few seconds each and off camera. I can NOT for the life of me get this rim back on
I havet the same exact looking tire. How do I understand that it is worn out? I've read millions of guides but I can't find a picture for me to understand lol.
If the tire is misshapen, bald (low or no tread), rubber is cracking or dry, not holding air -- you should replace the outer tire and/or inner tube. The Mantis Pro SE, Mantis King GT, and Wolf Warrior X GT have tubed pneumatic tires. If your tires go flat but the outer rubber tire seems fine, you may have punctures in the inner tubes and may only need to replace the tubes. If the outer rubber tire shows signs of damage mentioned, it's likely you'll need to replace both. With tubed tires, sometimes the tube can get pinched in the rim -- this is called a pinch flat. Tubeless pneumatic tires seal to the rim, so flats happen when the seal isn't tight or there's a puncture in the tire. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

I bought me a mantis scooter because of getting laid off because of COVID-19. I’ve put about 300 miles on it so far along the southern coast of California. From Huntington Beach all the way to Laguna beach cliffs and back about three time a week. I normally stop at the middle of my ride and get a schooner of beer which is A 32oz beer in a plastic beer class at Mutt Lynch’s in Newport Beach. Unfortunately I didn’t ride for about two months because of getting the virus 🦠 which almost killed me. As soon as I was able I went for a ride and my tire was low I guess from sitting in the garage for two months. As I rode on the boardwalk the wind was blowing strong that day and sand was all over the side walk and my camouflage hat blew off as I braked to stop to get my hat I stop to fast and my tire must of rotated foreword and pinched the tube that became flat. I had at least five or 6 miles to go to get to my destination to get to my vehicle. I realized I had a back tire flat so I road as close to the front as I could and went half speed or about 20mph and made it were I was going. That would of been a good walk in the wind pushing a 65pound lump all the way back so I got lucky that it was the back and not the front tire. What a ride it really wasn’t that bad knowing it would make it back on a flat tire. One thing that sucks! Is there is a lot of bike stores on the path but none of them sell a 9” tube for a scooter. So I have to order one on ebay which Allways take a week to a month to get then I have to worry about all the porch pirates that follow ups postal around and steal packages.
