You can't lift more weight on the moon, you lift more mass which is different. A 900 pound weight on earth would only weigh 150 pounds on the moon so you are still lifting the same weight.
Well, the mass doesn't change, so you don't lift more mass. Mass is constant, weight it relative to the planet/celestial body you're on. You can lift more earth weight on the moon than you can on earth.
@@2MC Surely Katherine Harris is correct. You could lift a *mass* 6 times greater - 6 times as many rings on your barbell. (NB One of the problems is that we commonly refer to lbs (or kgs) as units of weight. Weight is a force measured in Newtons. Kgs/lbs are units of mass.) A mass 6 times greater would have 1/6 the weight it does on Earth, so, ironically, the weight you could lift in Newtons would be exactly the same, since the force your muscles could exert would not have changed. (Unless you've been working out intensively on the way to the Moon, of course.)
@@kroy6701 Correct. I didn't disagree with Katherine, just clarified my point. The mass stays constant. The weight was relative to earth's gravity. If you can lift 150 lbs on earth then you can load 900 lbs on a barbell and take it to the moon to lift.
If we lost the moon. And earth speed remain the same going around the sun. We would go further than 93,000,000 miles from the sun ? So would we weigh less on the earth with no moon
Thank you so much you are the saviour every students wants you make vids that are just 2 mins and it is not long at all and you also tell the basic idea of the subject. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
This is so great. Why doesn't this channel have more subs?
Thank you. Hopefully the subs will keep coming 😊

Wow!
This channel is worth millions of subscribers.
Thanks ❤️
If there are ever hotels or places to stay on the moon I guarantee that a selling point will be to ‘lose easy weight’
Fastest weight loss plan ever!
But definitely not the cheapest.
Which Country Sir......?
USA
this guy is a legend! i learn a while class in 2 minutes rather then 50 minutes of a teacher blabing consistently
If we lost the moon. Would a person weigh less on earth.
narrowly utilitarian and broadly utilitarian ???
this is the only video that actually helped me I have my exam in a hour wish me luck
Good luck!!
I'm sold, let's all move to the moon.
I just watched him at school 😂
Amazing👌
Would you add the earth moon weight together to come up with how much gravity we have. Without the moon would weigh less
I loved your concept of interesting knowledge in 2 minutes
I know you might have quitted but can u do Imagery?
Excellent!
Thank you! Cheers!
