I’m just all on the classics this year. I have really rediscovered my love of reading through realising my taste has changed, I’m 37 and YA just isn’t what I enjoy the most despite having watched a lot of YA Booktube for years. So I got out of my slump by diving back into the classics. I definitely noticed as summer rolled around my taste change. I love the Russian classics, but I had to put away Doctor Zhivago for a little while. It definitely doesn’t really feel like a summer read, even our rainy summer this year. It’s funny you mention Emma because I am reading through all of Austen in publication order this year. I just finished Mansfield Park and will be reading Emma in August and September. I have also been really drawn to reread Alice’s adventures in Wonderland too. I’m also about to close up my first reading of Moby Dick with Critical Readings podcast. If you or anyone else for that matter would like to read it I can’r recommend enough reading along with the podcast. It has helped me tremendously through that novel. Gotta say I love your Word Cloud Classics collection 🤗 I collect them too! I feel like I don’t see them as much as expected here. They are lovely editions! Thank you for another lovely video!
