hope you are all having a beautiful week!! (any swifties here rn :’)))) anyway come read with me this spring in the Fable app where i’ll be picking a new book each month for us to read together! links.fable.co/MoyasBookclub 🤍 can’t wait to chat more books xx
fyi moya youtube channel named 'Cherrien' one of her contents about book recs popped up right after you dropped this one, tbh there were so many overlaps. sth is off about it and everything seemed too similiar(editing style and vibe) she didn't credit u- idk if this video inspired her or not but just wanted to let u know. i tried to ask her about this but my comment was blocked sadly
ate this up & didnt even know i needed it !! would love if this became a series, & esp appreciated the focus on women writers. sending love, thanks for the recs moya.
I'm not into reading at all, but I still watched this, because idk, your aura is something else. It calms me down, not in the best headspace rn in life, but these videos mean a lot to me.
Hey Moya, just casually wanted to mention that I miss your videos, its been so long since I've seen you or your content. Hope you're okay and are able to return soon. Love you nonetheless:’)
I was reading deborah levy's things i don't want to know at the time you showed it in one of your vids and now I found so many of my favs in this list!!! can't believe I have such similar taste with one of my favvvv RUclipsrs, can't wait to see more book contents from you!!
all my Sagan girlies who do it for the Babz ALL RISE!!! truly cannot wait for Durga's directorial debut of Bonjour Tristesse i know it's gonna be stellar
this is so random (and off topic) but i’m an art history major too and i was wondering if u ever saw the chi-ro-iota page of the book of kells when you were studying in trinity?
Moyaa, SO happy to see you in this video. Loved all your book recs. I started with Ernoux's Getting Lost after seeing it in your videos, still forming my opinions on it! But I'm so excited about the book club and all your summer recs.💗💗💗💗💗
This was wonderufl Moya!! You said something in the beginning that I can relate to - you said that you find that you read more during the summer months. I DO TOO and I JUST recently realized that. I live in Quebec City in Quebec and wer're just now coming into spring(although we may be getting some light flurries this weekend!..lol) Since our summers are only about 8 weeks, I dream of sitting out in the warm heat and READING. Thank you SOOO MUCH for this video because I'm DEF going to pick up some of these books and try and do your book club for the summer! 🙂
i just love when you talk about books in video, and i'm so grateful for your recommendation of fable, i didn't know humanity created a social media for people to talk only about books, that's awesome! :)))) 💗
I must say that the 101 Essays isn't for everyone.. If you are already into self development and journal a lot, the book might be boring since it won't give you the "life changing effect". Some of the chapters might be good, but unfortunately not worth the cost of the whole book. I love the idea to get inspired by one chapter for journaling though
hi moya! been going through a personal transition recently {finally moving out of my parents house & into a cutie apt. with my partner this upcoming friday, eep!} every night i've been rewatching your videos as i pack / unwind for the day. been watching you since your dublin diaries era, have more recently rewatched your vlogs from your london and italy days, and finally catching up with your latest vlogs tonight :') i feel as if i've grown alongside you over the years and as i trek along my personal journey and have witnessed your growth {both personally and in your career}, i just want to send you much love and care! charli x lorde said it best ... it's so confusing sometimes to be a girl ... yet here we are, riding the waves and conquering it all
i feel so lucky to have read my brilliant friend in a uni course on european society and the sexes (looking at gender and sex throughout three centuries of european history - 1700s-contemporary) my professor highlighted a lot of the beauty in the book and i hadn’t even finished it when we discussed so it made me reread it so much deeper and continue with the series with so much joy and sadness and learning
Loved this video. I got to know you when you were studying Art history would you mind sharing some of your favourite art history related books or essays the next time?
It would be nice to see more book content from you, I think we're all loving it! It would be amazing if you could include more black authors, it seems like this list included mostly white authors. I'm not saying this as a criticism, the content is great! Its just a recommendation
Thank you so so much for this !!! Your taste level in everything is incredible, this has set me up !! I highly HIGHLY recommend 'The Mountain is You' by Brianna Weist (the authour of the last book Moya mentioned) - has changed my entire mindset
Moya you HAVE TO read “When i sing, mountains dance” from Irene Solà, its such a special novel, so visual and pretty, and tells the story of the rural Catalan area in the late XX century. I hope u enjoy it as i did ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have to add paradise rot and interview with the vampire as a hot girl reader myself. And if you want something nonfiction I’d recommend romantic outlaws about Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley
thank so much for the beautiful book recommendations, i already saved almost all of them to my list x i'd love to recommend to you spanish author and academic called Sara Torres! she has this incredible novel called "Lo que hay", which focuses on how a lesbian girl tha's been on a long term open relationships starts to question it when she has this fling. she has now released "La seducción", which talks about desire and the different aspects of it trough this 32 year old girl that desires a much older woman than her. I think you would pretty much enjoy her she's so talented and the way she treats emotions is so relatable x hope you can get them!
I just stumbled across your channel few days ago, and I just have to say, it’s so so so cute. The aesthetic is so lovely and I’m so excited to see the other videos. 🫶🏼
I'm getting out of a readers block ( is that even a thing ) and I feel like I really can't read anything too long, thanks for the suggestions on short reads specially. And they're easy to carry around in summer vacay! 🙈
Loved simple passion but getting lost was an absolute nightmare to get through. She exhausted me by the end. Simple passion was incredible- truly her shorter, curated novellas are the best. Getting lost is just her infatuation without the poeticism etc. Love anything by Deborah Levy so just excited for this video!
picked up funny weather the first time you mentioned it in a video and loved it so so so much -- thank you for sharing olivia laing's world !!!!!!!!!! i went into a spiral reading her other books and am now always on the hunt more nonfiction essay books to devour...............
I read Hot Milk years ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. I’ve never seen it on social media or RUclips and I’m so glad I’m not the only one that’s read it!
hope you are all having a beautiful week!! (any swifties here rn :’)))) anyway come read with me this spring in the Fable app where i’ll be picking a new book each month for us to read together! links.fable.co/MoyasBookclub 🤍 can’t wait to chat more books xx

It would be super helpful if you could please list the books in a pinned comment or the description box of videos where you discuss reading :)
I’ve been looking at some of your past videos and I wanted to know what art school in Florence you went to
ate this up & didnt even know i needed it !!
would love if this became a series, & esp appreciated the focus on women writers.

L'amica geniale is absolutely beautiful and I love that we get to see them grow up to women during the different books
I was reading deborah levy's things i don't want to know at the time you showed it in one of your vids and now I found so many of my favs in this list!!! can't believe I have such similar taste with one of my favvvv RUclipsrs, can't wait to see more book contents from you!!
Kind of bored with affairs being glamourised. First book doesn’t sound like the one.
Does anyone know where I can get a t-shirt like the one she is wearing? 💌

this is so random (and off topic) but i’m an art history major too and i was wondering if u ever saw the chi-ro-iota page of the book of kells when you were studying in trinity?
Looove the all-female-writers detail✨(Recently learned that more than 3/4 of the new published books every year are from males and it shocked me)
Moyaa, SO happy to see you in this video. Loved all your book recs. I started with Ernoux's Getting Lost after seeing it in your videos, still forming my opinions on it! But I'm so excited about the book club and all your summer recs.💗💗💗💗💗
