    Every time I hear this song, I think of my cousin. He has a bad stuttering problem for years. Whenever I play this song in my car, he raps the word off flawlessly, as if you couldn't believe it's him. One time, I told complimented him on his flow and he would say like, "T-T-T-Thank Y-Y-OO-OO-OOU"! Thanks for posting this!

    I remember seeing them perform this song live, at a club in Chicago, about 13 years ago when I was in college. When the opening bass-line dropped, the crowd exploded -- the roof almost blew off of the place. The entire crowd was rapping the lyrics word for word with them. You couldn't even hear the MC's!
    Aaah, those were the days!

    Gangstarr killing it once again on the verse. Why the fuck is this shit not more popular? It's the dopest form of music out, and barely anyone even knows what it is. I've just turned 16, and I've been listening to shit like this since I was 13.
    Very rarely can anyone top GangStarr, this is dope.

      Glad to see someone else my age into stuff like this, my dad got me into hip hop and old rap, and i fell im love with it the first time i heared it, if you want new stuff too listen to from this era then listen to jaguar skills, he has a sick 1 hour mix from where it all started with sugar hill gang, and moving through the years until hip hop started to get shit in the 2000s, seriously recomend giving it a listen :)

      apenjong99 I know Guru is on the vocals, and Premier is behind the beat. I was talking about gurus verse, but I used the term gangstarr because if premier is making the beat and guru is singing, it's a full on proper gangstarr verse yes?
      All im saying is that in the part I was talking about, it was a guru+premier, which =Gangstarr.

    I also remember seeing this song perormed live. It was at the New York City club Tramps in 1997. It was the final song of GangStarr's show. The crowd was so hyped, they did the song a 2nd time!!
