Where do you heat screws is sand?
Then dip them in oil or is it another product?
    Thanks. Hug!

If you don't have a sandblasting machine, use vinegar and soak it for 2 days, then use a pressure washer to remove the rust, and after that, use brake cleaner and contact cleaner for finishing.

Very nice refurbishing effort. Some times you can take a heat gun to the plastic parts and warm them up some and remove all the marks and scratches. Don't know if that will work on that plastic but I thought I would pass that along for info... Thumbs Up!

Thanks for the reminder, heating the shell of this old model can indeed reduce scratches.🤝🏻🤝🏻

I remember the 7.2v Makita power tools. It was before we found out that our tools needed to be powerful. I used to have one of the drills and flashlights. That drill would now be considered a cordless screwdriver.

The DC motor is designed with a 90-degree magnet and brush angle, by changing the angle, the motor consumes more current and outputs less power.
