    Randy, I actually decided to check this video out because it appeared to harken back to the old days when you would get a cheaper car, bring it home, wrench on it, clean it up, then send it on to someone else to get a lot more use out of. I was right and enjoyed watching you do just that. Keep more of these coming 👍👍

Also, I'm always amazed at how well you can talk "off the cuff"! :) Thank you!!

      Randy's videos have given me more confidence to attack bigger projects. Though I've given up selling to the public as I can never get the cars certified. We aren't allowed any lights on the dashboard, TPMS is a fail and you can't register or sell a car with it on. Used to be able to, even with a cracked break lens. Not anymore.

    Be aware of slow pumps like that, it could mean clogged fuel filters or they are running low on fuel.

  • @sccarguy8242
    @sccarguy8242 2 года назад +6

    A fuel pump, pumping that slow means one of two things. The gas station is low on fuel in their tanks, or the pumps filters are incredibly clogged. If it’s a constant thing it’s more likely that it’s the filters and I would find another station to fill at.

    Great tutorial Randy, kudos! We have the same family of engines Ecotec here in Europe in Opel/Vauxhall and Chevrolet cars. I had two of them already the 1.0 c.c Euro and 1.2 Euro for the Aveo (Sonic for North America). All of them without exception after few thousand miles do that sewing machine noise at idling, all of them. My Chevy had same faults as that one, very poorly designed cooling system and prone for leakage and head gasket failures. Easy to work on though contrary to many complicated French crap we have here like Peugeot, Citroen and Renault.

    When you get companys to do work/labour for you for free, In the agreement of promoting their channel for free, It sounds like a great arrangement, unless you don't fulfil your end of the deal.
