    For those asking about Claudia:
    We see *this version of Claudia* disappear, the one who was the head of a nuclear plant and discovered how to time travel with the help of her older self. But, a different Claudia exists in the origin world who still births Regina. She's just not the Claudia we've been following in the show. The original Claudia never became the head of the nuclear plant, because the nuclear plant was never made in the origin world.
    Claudia is like Katharina, Peter, Bernadette, Wöller and Hannah. They exist whether time travel is discovered or not.
    Unlike Jonas, Martha, every other Nielsen, etc. Claudia's birth isn't dependant on the existence of time travel. So, we're seeing *our version of Claudia* disappear, but rest assured she still lives (or lived) in the origin world, but hopefully an apocalypse-free life.

    Have you all noticed the power plant is not there in this scene?? This is because Martha's son, (the unnamed man with his childhood self) doesn't exist and did not force the mayor of Winden to sign the agreement of building the power plant. So in reality, there is no nuclear power plant near Winden. It means we live in the origin world, where time travel machine is never invented.
    But the whole show holds much more philosophical meanings than that.

      Dark series also shown reincarnation as a quantum Immortality concept, Katherina died in first world and reborns in second World, she then died in second World during apocalypse but her soul remembers her suffering during the lost of Mikkel that's why she was hugging Mikkel during apocalypse, Peter died in first world and reborns in second World, that's why he was feeling like he have met Jonas, when Jonas first time came to his world, because he have given him therapy, Martha have also born in second World that's why she was saying that when I met you Jonas I felt I met you before, Magnus Does all time travel thing with Jonas and reborns in second World and that's why he was satisfied during Apocalypse of second World because he have done so much work so his soul was satisfied. Similarly Francisca also done so much work and reborns in second second World and she was not having voice because she disrespected her sister who can't speak and her soul was also satisfied during Apocalypse of second World. but Jonas born again in his own universe but in Scrodinger cat theory, quantum immortality, that's why he never born in second World because he was always present in his world, his soul never gone their to reborn. But they all reborn in third world through different parents and reunited. The paradise.
      yes it may possible that quantum immortality concept of quantum physics can exist in real we just don't know that we are immortal and we will be become our Ulternate version of Scrodinger cat experiment, as Jonas felt something when he first read the letter of Martha, because he knows then only that The lines he said to real Martha can't be known by the Martha of other world. So it may be all version of all characters were past and future life of each other. And that is why he became Adam from Jonas.
      There is also a hint given in episode 5 of season 2 that in staring scene Middle Jonas dreamed where he is with Teenage Martha on bed and then suddenly Martha belly Ejects black liquid and that was their son, the origin, he was shocked because Adult jonas never goes to Martha for intercourse on bed , but because in true sense he goes to Martha world and died and reincarnated in alternate version.

Going through caves, building time traveling machines, switching realities, in order to keep them safe. Meanwhile, Jonas struggles the entire series and his dad is no longer around and Hannah could care less about him because shes too busy chasing her own desire. so i just finished the show and here’s my interpretation of how Claudia broke the knot:
    essentially, everything not in the original world happened simultaneously and therefore not at all. from what i’ve read, the prevailing theory is that Claudia kept learning new information with each loop and passed it along to her younger self each time until eventually, one of her discovered the loophole. I don’t think that’s what happened, since it would mean each loop is not identical in that Claudia will know something different each time.
    what I think happened is that the information Claudia passes along in the knot is always the same, so from the very first pass she has already discovered the loophole. her discovering the loophole breaks that reality off from the knot. her interactions with Adam in that pocket reality are independent of the knot, therefore that series of events has not happened before and will never happen again. and the events born from the pocket reality (Jonas and Martha stopping the car accident) annihilate the knot which in turn annihilates the pocket reality. so they both never happen.
    everything takes place both endlessly and never at all

    it was a father that created the loop for his son, a mother that kept it going for her son, and it was another mother that helped end it for her daughter. this whole series had a parenthood angle that was consistent throughout - parents in each cycle went to extreme lengths to (try to) save their children. it was the central point that led to their demise/success, depends on how you look at it. Ulrich/Katharina for Mikkel, Hanno/Noah for Charlotte, Martha/Eva for her son, Claudia for Regina and of course the one who started it all, Tannhaus, for Marek, Sonja and Charlotte 💔

    The sad part to me is that, the adult jonas die alone, without alt martha or even with magnus and franziska, working on the time machine or something, he just die alone....
    But well Adam suffer a lot more than him, all his burns and had to kill his mother, his love of his life (two times) and kill his best friend (Noah).
    The strangers was begin to suffer the transformation in Adam and i think, must to be as minimum.... infernal.

However Baran Bo Odar and Jantje Friese (creators of the series) are currently working (writers room) on their next big project 1899 coming to Netflix hopefully late 2021. So looking forward to it. It'll be some kind of a inter-european project mainly in English. In the meantime I'll rebinge (is that even a word?) Dark at least a thousand times. 😊🐧

Let this show remain slightly in the "Dark" (pun intended) , coz this show isn't for everyone, and it doesn't need popularity for it to be a timeless masterpiece.

    I love this series.
    Don't get me wrong. The ending was great. But I really hoped it wouldn't of had a "happy" ending.
    My vision for the ending was that the loop was never broken and their torment perpetual.
    Claudia said to Adam "Every journey has a beginning. Yours has no end."
    That would have been fitting for my idea. Which I honestly thought it might end like that. With something like a recap of scenes with people trying to change things only for the outcome to continue the Neverending cycle. Ending with young, middle, old Jonas/Martha with a look of pain on their faces, wanting and ending to it all, but never getting that desire.
    Maybe it ended like that in an alternative reality.

  • @SeaLady98
    @SeaLady98 4 года назад +17

    But... Jonas and Martha cannot stop existing, ever. In order to save Tannhaus's family Jonas and Martha must exist because without them, they will always die. If their purpose is to stop Tannhaus's family from dying; they will always exist in order to do that. Maybe they thought they stopped the cycle, but THIS is their cycle, the beginnin of their cycle: trying to prevent their own existence is what makes them come into existence in the first place. If they do not exist, Tannhaus will ALWAYS build the time machine. They do not end the cycle by saving Tannhaus's family, they CREATE IT again because, without them, there will always be a world in which Tannhaus's family dies.
    THIS is their begining. By preventing their own existence, Jonas and Martha create a world in which they do not stop Tannhaus's family from dying, and thus a world in which their existence is NECESSARY to save them.
    They are bound to exist, they are bound to try to stop the cycle for it will create a world in which they are born again.
    They are living in a constant lie in which they think they are finally free, only to be born again in the world Tannhaus's family dies BECAUSE they do not exist.
    Their story ends in this timeline, but Jonas and Martha are innevitable. And maybe their story will always be the same, like this, in other worlds too.
    Maybe they will always exist, and maybe they will never be free.
    Just a theory tho
    Man this show is deep.

      @alice.ali.a5175 4 года назад +3

      That's true, maybe they created another loop, but it's no big deal if it isn't horrible like the one they were living, and that's what they wanted: no more deaths and pain. All the bad things that happened in the worlds were a cause of the time machine (Charlotte/Elizabeth, Ulrich, Mikkel...), therefore now their worlds still exist but they're normal and are probably no longer different that the original, except for the fact that Jonas and the people "created" by time travel don't exist in the original.
