He was in custody. Didn't you watch the video where they said he was arrested and the the video even showed him being arrested. He was in custody. Now he's out on bond until his trial.
That's becoming a common problem. I work security at a night club and we've been having shootings for the past 4 months. The worst one was during a riot we had, cops took a hour to show up, there were at least 10 squad cars, they had one truck at gun point pulling out 5 guys who were armed and involved in the shooting. Come to find out, they were let free a few days later. I know some of the officers who showed up and they were just as mad as I was when they found out.
It's a Playbook they've been using for years. Cause destabilization in a region and then take it over there wanting all this chaos to happen. They get it to a point to where it so bad then they can take over. Start implementing martial law and unconstitutional laws. I think given that the person sort of dove infront of the car the intent was to escape not to run him over. The fact he was willing to do that in order to escape without a self defense reason makes me think it would be something like reckless aggravated assault or something like that. But it could just be reckless driving it just depends. It's pretty crazy that this guy suffered no injuries because people get horrible injuries or die from this sort of thing commonly.

The judge didn't set him free. He is released on bail pending trial. If he doesn't show up for trial, he will be arrested and charged with EVEN MORE CRIMES. Also, his house will be seized, since he gave the court a lien on it for his bail.

That's becoming a common problem. I work security at a night club and we've been having shootings for the past 4 months. The worst one was during a riot we had, cops took a hour to show up, there were at least 10 squad cars, they had one truck at gun point pulling out 5 guys who were armed and involved in the shooting. Come to find out, they were let free a few days later. I know some of the officers who showed up and they were just as mad as I was when they found out.

I think given that the person sort of dove infront of the car the intent was to escape not to run him over. The fact he was willing to do that in order to escape without a self defense reason makes me think it would be something like reckless aggravated assault or something like that. But it could just be reckless driving it just depends. It's pretty crazy that this guy suffered no injuries because people get horrible injuries or die from this sort of thing commonly.
