I was excited to do an audit of my cash savings yesterday. Since May, I've been able to save just over 5400.00 My husband was shocked when I told him. I've been having so much fun doing it. The plan is to send 3500.00 in as an extra house payment at the beginning of the year.. That will knock about 4 months off of our payments. That's my goal....get the house paid off. We owe about 9 years on it....I would like to get it paid off in 5.
Set that goal as you and your husband goal for 2025, if he was surprised about you saving that much then he may get on the bandwagon. Much love and many Blessings.❤
Great breakdown. I started using the cash system August 2023 but really stuck with it in 2024. I actually saved enough for Christmas this year without having to worry about where the money was coming from.
Love watching cash stuffing videos. I have yet to start my catagories, but im saving through the 100 envelopes. My goal is july 26 of 2025. I also save all dollar bills and coins.
I've been cash stuffing and budgeting since June of this year and yes, this system really help a lot. I don't use my bank card unless I'm paying a bill online. I can't wait to count what I have saved up in June of 2025. Thanks for sharing and I purchased items from your website.
Appreciate your detailed explanation of this cash system. I’ve been consistently saving with my challenges and sinking funds for the past 6 months. I’m so proud of myself.
I really need to start saving this year and start sinking funds… I came across your channel and you explain how to save, budget and sink funds in a way that makes it easy to understand! Thank you for that.. I will continue to watch and learn! 😊
I am wanting to give this a try! I am such a newbie! I don't even know what kind of categories that I want to divide cash into. I really enjoyed your vid! thanks for sharing! xoxo
You don't have to get it right the first time. Give yourself 3 months or so to really hit your stride. But an imperfect budget is still better than none! Go for it
This whole video is goals, honestly. I can't stop admiring your consistency...I haven't been able to save up much however I try to make a budget plan every month and stick to it. So far it worked well and I'll be getting a bonus soon so I plan to add it to my savings envelope. I'm still a beginner when it comes to budgeting and sometimes its mix & match to see what works for me. Thank you for being here and posting videos and allowing us to join you on your journey! ❤
Thanks to you, i started saving challenge in last 6 months. I saved 100 envelope saving challenge in 100 days ie. 5050/-, and going to finish 2nd 100 envelope saving challenge by last day of this December
I love the way you address this system. I am a newbie to it but find joy in saving, investing and knowing where my dollars are going! Also your nails are amazing. I have an appt in two days and may have to take a screen shot of yours for inspo, if that's ok. ;0
I stan!! Thank you for this video sis! I'm starting my journey in January. I yet again feel like I need to get on the site and buy more binders 😂 you are absolutely walking your purpose. Love you!!
Wow gurl!!!!! Congrats 👏 👏 👏 You have encouraged me to start this system...I just got my cash notebooks in and have been getting motivated into starting at the beginning of January....I will continue to utilize your tips and videos to accomplish this goal❤
hi, I'm new here on your channel🤗, after watching I decided to try this again and keep track of everything, this year I didn't succeed and it's already December😭
I'm doing several saving challenge .I use my checking for all my .and I'm doing 100 savings challenge coins 5 gallon challenge etc.. and I thought I could not do it but I can'.. just have to be consistent and willing
I've started this 2025 year with the 100 envelopes, I will do 4 envelopes on each pay day(every 2 weeks) at the end of the year, and I hope to have $5,050. Plus, I have a 52-week challenge for a total of 1,372.
I want to start cash stuffing once I graduate in the spring and working full time and I've been watching so many videos and the one question I always think is "Do you just withdrawal your entire paycheck out of your bank account every month?" Like if you have all your spendings set aside in cash does that mean your bank account stays pretty low in balance? I'm new to all of this and trying to stick to a budget and I would love to learn more....if anyone in the comments knows the answer or has any tips please reply!
Yes, it would stay low. Better to have bank 2 accounts for safety. One main account to accept wages/earnings as well as pay bills. Then make a seperate bank account for savings exclusively (search for a bank with low admin rates for this one to save more). With the Main account you can start cash stuffing once you paid the things you need to pay/budget, and isn't under the limit to keep the account alive (includes admin costs). The rest of the cash you can withdraw. Second account is where you want to put all the cash stuffed money safely once you're done for 6 months or a year saving. It's an account you don't touch unless for emergencies. Personally, the first goal in savings for someone starting to work full time is to have emergency funds in case you're laid off. It should be at minumum 6 months of what you earn for the month to get by.
A sister I subbed right away. I'm new to all of this, and I'm 32. It will be my first year with the envelope system. I just opened my high-yield savings account with American Express. Any more tips? 2025 will be my year.
Im learning and struggling with this at the same time. I feel like I have too many things I'm trying to save for and I'm overwhelmed on how much to allocate to them or which ones are priority over the other. To me they are ALL priority. I need HELP. Any advice anyone can give? Examples are: 1 month ahead, Car maintenance, 2025 bday trip, medical, personal savings. All of those are priority to me :(
First step is to figure out how much you need in each category, then determine the timeline you want to have completed. Divide the amount by the number of months to see how much you need to save a month. For example, If you need $600 for a vacation in June, you would save $100 a month, $50 a check if you get paid twice a month. Hopefully, that helps.
@@jempress2500 When I first started, I pretty much copied a RUclipsr who I could financially relate to. Overtime, I was able to adjust my budget and envelope categories to what I need more specifically, but it’s nothing wrong with using others’ numbers until you better understand and start to feel less overwhelmed.
I actually use my credit card for all my bills that can be paid on it. BUT, I only use it if I know have the money to put back on it that month, if I don't then I don't use it. I do not use it as an extension of my income. This has helped me raise my credit score but also be more financially responsible. Outside monthly bills..I use cash envelopes for everything else which has also helped a great deal!
Just enquiring about buying stocks... Is it also available for us who are not US citizen and not residing in the US. Loving the videos all the way from the Fiji Islands 🇫🇯, very motivating indeed
Great video 🎉just purchased the month ahead🎉🎉some have too many icons that is a little overwhelming and yours have the right amount which is greatly appreciated 😅 simple yet effective!!!love it🩷🩷🩷

It’s possible Sis! I’ve def heard testimonials of people paying off houses and cars so much faster! It’s a great system❤
Great job❤

Are any of your bills automated, or do you take the money to the bank, and then it’s deducted for the?
@@cowan2881 Most of them are automated but I still deposit the money in my bill account. I use different accounts.
