Hey Dusty, these sales came from Friday afternoon to Sunday after. Not sure which percentages you are asking about. Some of these items that sold had been listed for months and others just weeks.
@@DustyShelves70 I used to run 75%, 50%, and 25% on 1500 items each month 500 each with the oldest being 75% off. Now I do more of a manual markdown on the older items each day.
I had a great weekend also .. for me. Had a garage sale and brought in almost $2000... and I live 20 miles from town plus I had two amazing sales... a 1994 womens Carhartt jacket sold for $150 (paid $5) and a pair of vintage Larry Mahan boots I got at a yard sale for $5 also. Love weekends like this.. :)
Thanks CJ, I’m going to give it a year or so. If it doesn’t work I may keep the spot anyway. Just to move the office out of my house. Make room for baby number 2 in a couple years.
@TaylorExchange I hear. My thing was to separate work from home. It was the right location, lease(month to month), price, and the right landlord. I wanted to do this 6 to 12 months from now, but it was just too good of an opportunity. Just another write off anyways.
Hey Patricia, I had free shipping when I first started selling but switched to flat rate price. When a customer wants a return for fit or they changed their mind eBay does not require you to refund the shipping. If you have free shipping you have to return the full amount. And I’m yes it does hurt you a bit on combined order. This is my message and method for combined shipping. “I have a reduced shipping discount. First item ordered is $8.99 shipping. Any additional item is $2.99 shipping.” A lot of buyers feel good about this deal.
Slowdown is used that way as a noun so 1 word. When your son starts running and you yell at him to slow down its 2 words. Im an editor in addition to being a health freak. Ill wait forever to see you eat a green vegetable.
@Taylor Exchange I saw that. Good job! My friends say my personality is like Dave goggins. But I'm just really passionate about going 100% for everything in life including nutrition. Salads are a good start. Hey I hope Ragnar gets to be an office dog with you. It wouldn't be too difficult to train him for basic obedience. I think he deserves to be a youtube star. People love dogs man. I comment frequently to help your channel. But Ragnar has much more power. 🐕
But it's not you have to purchase the shipping label out of the price you give, so the price is still what you sold it for.Not plus shipping cause you don't get the shipping. Makes no sense man
Labels are between $5 and $8 so theirs a few bucks extra in shipping every order. If you’re making $60k with $10 profits all the more power to you. I have not figured out how to do that so I push volume.
I wonder why you keep avoiding the obvious questions about sales. When your told about no sales, slow sales but others in the chat you gloss over it by saying you dont have this problem or you dont notice it etc etc etc. The truth to the matter dude its very real. People who have been selling for 20+ yrs are seeing huge decline in sales but not you? How is that possible? You state you dont analyse it, well i bet if you had 1 sale in a day or less than 10 you'd be asking the same question. For example, i have 600 listed items. Last sale was on the 17th for a $1 sports card purchase. That was 10 days ago. What is the problem here? Your all smiles and act like nothing is a problem but believe me the moment your account sees the same decline in sales as the others you'll really really pissed off, like the rest of us.
I’m all smiles because I’m a smiley guy. I have trouble understanding what your situation is like because it has been years since I went a day without sales. The only thing I can thing of is the items you are selling are not what people want to buy or they are overpriced. I show my audience every week what I sell. If you can find those items for less than $5 and be willing to make $5-$8 profit per item then you will have sales.
@@TaylorExchange ye that may be true but can you tell me why im making daily sales on PM? Since Nov last year my PM sales are 2X what Ebay has produced. And i sell Nike, Adidas pretty much the same shirts, jeans and clothing this guy is selling and shoes. And if they werent desirable i wouldnt be getting offers. Ebay has some SERIOUS problems and i suspect it depends on where you live and what servers you are located on. I live in Las Vegas and i bet those who are based here are seeing the same crappy sales from Ebay as i am.
Live interaction with potential customers is GREAT practice. Promoting yourself and your business during local events is an easy, inexpensive way, to market and gain exposure. I would suggest doing a raffle or giveaway (gift certificate) to get people to sign up on your email list so you can promote to them later. Ping me if you have questions about how to easily do this. banging out them sales bro. big ups. finally took the first listed 2 items more to come.
Thanks Newman, have to start somewhere!
Once it starts building is becomes a very good thing
Nice results! Can you explain in detail how you structure your sales? All inventory? Old stuff only? Percentage? Numbers of days? Thanks!

@@TaylorExchange sorry for the confusion. I was referring to markdown sales. Wondering how you do your promotions.

2k at a yard sale is crazy good!
@@TaylorExchange Considering my last one was a huge flop (my fault)...

Congrats on the store front lease. I am also in the process of moving to a commercial storefront. I will not be open to the public though. Cheers

Classic $2000K weekend lol
All $20 sales 🤣🤣🤣
hey Taylor! I have free returns, do you? Cuz I am wondering how it would factor in since you combine so much of the shipping...thanks:)

No alleys or basements in Oklahoma.
I figured no basements but no alleys is surprising. I find them very useful but some look at it as disgusting
Where do you buy $5 shirts?
Texas
Need to fix your title... it should say 2K, not 2000K. Just an FYI
😅 Thanks

I don’t have PoshMark so I could say why your sales are performing over there.
You dont promote at all? If i dont promote i get ZERO VIEWS across 600 listed items. Well i ll get a few clicks but no sales.
No promotions are these parts…

Raffle is a good idea but I am far to cheap for that.
