- No stranger to us this car. We originally mapped this 1.0 For Fiesta Ecoboost Stage 1, over time it has transformed not only with engine modifications but styling also.
The car is currently Stage 2.

Upon routine maintenance we found a boost leak, this video was testing after fixing said boost leak. It ran a healthy 179.4BHP with nice pops bangs and flames to match.

Never had any issues with it at all.
We all know even stock ecoboost engines go bang, this one must have been one of the good ones.

How much nm torque can the manual IB6 transmission take ?
Oh awesome! Looks good too. BTW can the Powershift handle such power? Under the transmission spec the max torque it can handle is 240nm
We cap the torque to avoid transmission damage.

So for the 5 million dollar question....
It is possible to on 180hp (stage 2-3) with the torque “capped” to less than 240nm so as Not to damage the powershift DCT?
Yes, this is exactly what we do. Stage 2 180bhp torque capped to save the gearbox.

Hey youuu guuuuuys, I have a factory standard 1.0 ecoboost red edition, I was just wondering, is it safe for me to get a remap (more BHP) without upgrading any parts? It's currently 138bhp as standard. Many thanks.
Yeah a stage one map is for standard cars.

Believe it or not we never had any issues with this car running that spec and map.
Since been converted to a ST running just shy of 350bhp.

I have been running it for 3 years (from 12k mileage) and done over 70k miles now. Just gotta keep changing those spark plugs

The original owner wanted to sell it and buy a ST but insurance quotes wouldn't allow it. It was actually cheaper to do a full ST Conversion than it was to insure a ST. Which is what he did after this video.
We now own the car and it's running just shy of 350 Bhp stage 3.
The original owner now owns a Golf R, which was cheaper to insure than the 1.0 fiesta. 🤣🤣🤣

How long can this this little engine realistically last with this kind of power...?
Obviously it's all down to how much this power is used, or exploited....
But it must be a very strong bog standard set-up in the first place. Makes you wonder what sort of BHP-per litre we'll see in the coming years before the internal combustion engine gets "replaced"....😂😂😂😂😂😂

Man it sounds mean like a i6 or v6. Hard to believe that sound is coming out of a 3 cylinder.

@@dom3827 I have never seen that car before that is bad ass it has a nice growl to it. I have a 2017 focus se with the 1.0l 3 cylinder turbo. It isn't fast but I like how it sounds and it is a 6 speed so that is a plus for me.

This car has since been converted to a ST and recently had a hybrid turbo added to it. 340bhp the last time we dyno run it.

It's a KMS Hurricane. They have a back box.
Does it not have a lot of back pressure my car has pop and bangs and the back box exploded

Unfortunately insurance wouldn't allow. Believe it or not it was cheaper to insure a Converted 1.0 to a ST than an ST.
And even cheaper to insure a Golf R than the 1.0. 🤣🤣🤣
@@OptimaRemapping insurances make no sense🤣 went to insure a kia ceed 2 1.6 crdi wanted 250 a month for my first year, did a quote on a 2.0 astra vxr and it was £10 more 🤷♂️👀
