Meh, that's really subjective. It fucking blazing through the walls had me dumbfounded and astonished the entire time and that was pretty entertaining IMO.
I agree with M A IN I A C - the 6 minute one is definitely faster And more mindbending, but it really hurts my eyes and just looks like random clips of glitchy moments added together to form a "run".
20 minute one, though, is the best run still - both length and coherence wise. It just feels like Im watching pros beat the game unbelievably fast, not like a bad acid trip.

Но вместе с тем они заметили, что вселенная, вместо своего расширения, стала очень быстро сжиматься, возвращаясь обратно к истокам, к большому взрыву. Также люди заметили, что в нашем мире начали появляться существа, из других миров, которые начали разрушать всё вокруг. И в конечном итоге все это привело к повторению сюжета Half-Life 2, полной анархии и хаоса. Как ни странно в 2098 году всё население Земли знало сюжет сиквела Half-Life, и они знали что ожидать от иновселитян и как с ними бороться. Но мир уже не спасти...

While I can appreciate all Half-Life content, especially in the realm of "gotta go fast", I think comparing these two runs doesn't do either of them justice. They are both totally different styles of runs: one that is a legitimate segmented run with little use of glitches, and the other which is a complete glitch/warp-fest.

No hay nada de Gameplay en el "Nuevo Record" en mi opinion Quadrazid sigue siendo el portador del record, el de 6 mins uso un bug enorme, en cambio Quadrazid lo hizo limpio.
Los dos usaron bugs. Por eso ponen esa categoría, para poder usar ese tipo de bugs.

Пришло время объяснять, это save warping, это тот же triggerdelay, но с помощью сохранений, то есть сохраняешься в месте наложения карт, спамишь командой wait, задеваешь тригер смены уровня, загружаешь сохранение, перестаешь спамить командой wait, в итоге прогрузится следующая карта, а ты будешь находится в позиции, которая была в сохранении, так же можно делать sw через несколько тригеров смены уровня, сохранения должны делаться на карте, у которой есть соединение с картой, на которую ты делаешь sw, так же при sw нужно делать сохранение в поле видимости метки, иначе оружие не будет работать, вообще смысл sw заключается в том, что ты вызываешь смену уровня не в том месте, где было задуманно, теперь приведу примеру sw через несколько тригеров смены уровня, допустим у 1 и 3 карты есть наложение, а у 2 нет наложения, мы делаем sw через первый тригер смены уровня, тем самым появляемся за картой, сохраняемся, делаем sw через второй тригер смены уровня и в итоге появляемся на 3 карте в месте наложения 1 и 3 карты

Best part is that at 3:54 the real speedrun started for the longer speedrun. There are so many Memes because of the longer one. It just feels natural. I don’t know the other one is just using glitches and safe-files while on the other one you can see some humanity behind it.

Segmented runs mean pretty much nothing, especially with dirty edits. If it's a 6 minute run, there's no excuse to segment it.
No excuse? Do you understand how precise and hard the new speedrun is? Its practically impossible without segmenting
Then the speedrun itself is, in fact, impossible. Segmenting it is for the person running multiple runs. Breaking parts of the runs into segments so they can see what their "best segmented time" is so they know what they should be capable of, allowing them to think about where they need to work on in their full run.
Posting a segmented video onto RUclips and calling it a world record? No, that's a lie. This is not an official run, it's segmented, and the edits are dirty, how many frames were cut during those edits? Is it offset by the number of frames added to really make the run still valid? Is cutting midway through a glitch really fair if the setup before it wasn't going to end up working and it had to cut to a different segment otherwise it was a rip run? Is running a 6 min run that hard to just get a time? Why not show the actual 6 min run in the amount of time it takes. It's not hard to redo a run if the run is less than 10 mins long. I can understand segmenting a 6 hour run, but no... there is NO excuse to segment the run and be proud of your potential time. Show us your real time. Speedrunning is supposed to be about skill an execution, right? If you can just edit out all the fails and piece together all the parts of the run that went flawlessly, is it really any different from a basketball player shooting 100 freethrows in a row never hitting anything except the net by editing out all the times he missed? People can be good at throwing a free throw, but the reason people wanted to see him throw 100 shots without missing a single shot is because THAT is impressive. Hitting a single shot even 80% of the time is nowhere near as impressive.
That's the point, this ISN'T a world record, it's the world record he COULD have if he was actually that good. This is why I don't have a whole lot of respect for a majority of the speed running community. Reminds me of that video from a GDQ where some ass clown held the world record in a category that he made up and never declared the rules so nobody could challenge him. Wake up and actually speedrun the game, if you can't do it in one go, it's not a speedrun, it's a dream.
There are segmented world records and real time world records. They are two separate things. 20:41 and 6:21 can be compared because they are both in the exact same category. the 20:41 run is like the 6:21 run. A compilation of the best clips to make the perfect run. That is what segmented runs are. So if you are calling 6:21 illegitimate you are also calling 20:41 illegitimate. And if you don't like segmented runs just go to speedrun.com to watch half lifes real time runs. They are awesome to watch.

Основной баг в этом ране, это save warping, это тот же triggerdelay, но с помощью сохранений, к примеру делаешь сохранение, спамишь командой wait, задеваешь тригер смены уровня, загружаешь сохранение, перестаешь спамить командой wait, в итоге ты появишься в той же позиции, где было сохранение, но на следующей карте, можно делать через несколько тригеров смены уровня, то есть делаешь все те действия, сохраняешься и повторяешься все те действия, но на следующем тригере смены уровня
Я в первом рекорде не до конца понимал что происходит, а щас вообще п*здец
Ной чисто своим мозгом не сможет разобрать информацию которая передается со скоростью 1-на глава в сек. У него постоянно инет лагает , что уж тут говорить про элитные вещи

The new "record" if we can call it that. is just one big BUG. There's almost no gameplay at ALL, and i don't think this new "record" should be even recognized.
It's almost as if finding glitches to make your runs faster is, you know, the *entire point* of speedrunning...
So if somebody manage to find a glitch in one games that makes him finish in 1 second ? Would you consider it ?

Viewer Y01 usually games with bugs that skip large portions and can be reused over and over again such as save warping, are put into a different category, the new one abuses save warping because it lets them beat the game as fast as possible for a human, the old run doesn’t use save warping which is why it is not in the save warping category, also these segmented runs usually showcase the fastest way to beat the game under certain circumstances

Artes WORLD те спидраны, которые ты предпочитаешь и этот спидран записываются в разные таблицы рекордов, то что ты предпочитаешь - rta, то что ты тут видишь - segmented
