That looks like a lot of work, good job Screwdriver and Joe.
Center console is the way to go. It’s like a canyon. External speaker and mic go in the pocket area where the radio is in this video.
Great job!
Very nice and clean install.
Really cool setup thanks for the video!
Very nice work indeed.
Clean install Screwdriver. I always wanted to do a wire dipole on the rooftop of the camper but have never experimented with the idea
It works !!
Very clever install. This covers when the camper is on the truck and the cowl mount when the camper is not being used 😊 good thinking and so non conventional!
Thanks! 👍
Bluetooth on the radio is an excellent option
Looks good.
love the CB install.... when they break in and steal it no damage to the truck... seen a few ripped off the under dash leaving the dash all broken costing thousands to fix.
I got a bluetooth mike and the radio is about the size of a deck of cards and will install anywhere. But I guess it's going to be hard to hide that antennae on the hood. I hadn't even thought about it getting stolen.
Nice 👍
Thanks for sharing the antenna information. I am thinking about drilling a hole in the trunk of my car to mount a 108" inch CB antenna, but I am not sure my car trunk is grounded ? Do all cars have grounded car trunks from the car manufacturer ?
Great job. Can you do this blue tooth for a cobra 29 ltd classic. 😊
Overpasses might take that antenna right off of that thing
Guess it depends on overall height. No McDonald's drive thru for that vehicle.😂
You all are missing the point of the two antennas, the tall one is when at the campsite, the fender one is for on the road.

Ahhhh, hence the antenna switch.
Do you have the bracket for the cowl mount available?
www.bellscb.com/products/accessories/Custom_stainless_brackets.htm
What's the benefit of having the antennae on the camper and the truck?
When he was at the campground the Camper antenna was much higher and the range was improved.
Is the antennae going to hit the camper in heavy or highway speed wind?
No just misses it
@@BellsCB I've got a 2006 F450 and the place you've got the antennae doesn't really exist (it's a grate). And I got a magnet mount so that's not going to work. What happens if you install 102" on the camper roof at a 30 degree angle back? Will it work the same or does it have to be pointing straight up? My camper is already at 12ft at the air conditioner but with the antennae at that angle it won't be much higher than the AC.
@@Maxid1 I think this bracket will do it: www.bellscb.com/products/accessories/Custom_stainless_brackets.htm#:~:text=1999%2D2010%20Ford%20F250/F350
@@BellsCB The KF2-L
AUF2-L that says it's sold out?
@@BellsCB But I see I can get it at lots of places. Thank you so much for your help!
