    I believe thats a dougless' squirrel! I usually tell by the striking colors on them :)

    Have you ever been to Madera Canyon or Ramsey Canyon? Or the Boyce Thompson Arboretum? Those places are amazing for birding.

    Thank you so much for this video. I have been hoping someone would do a video of Northern California. I live about 300 miles below.
    In wine country.
    Petaluma CA.
    Sonoma county. We have two pretty good waterways to birds watch.
    Hope to see more.

    Nice pictures and video of the nighthawks. They are difficult to capture as quick as they are. Big mouths but comically small beaks. Thanks for sharing

    I'm a huge fan of owls and am slightly jealous of your good luck :). Nevertheless, I really enjoyed your photo of the adult and juvenile Clark's Nutcrackers, which was evocative. Thanks for sharing.

    Really good video. I am pretty sure that was a Douglas Squirrel, but not sure if there are separate sub species for that area of the country. Cute little guys for sure

    What camera were you using here? It's hard to tell, though I know you've had the G9 ii on hand lately. It looks so similar to Panasonic's FF cameras that I can't quite make out what it is. Great video, also. I love the wilderness. It's so refreshing to get out away from everything.

    Nice shots! Just wondering, I'm aware you are a manual focus type guy but when you are snapping photos of the nighthawks in flight do you still use manual focus?

      Would depend on the camera more now a days with some of the newest models being pretty good, but in this situation yes, I shot everything in this video manual focus ☺️

      @@JeremyNeipp tnx cause I was checking it in google maps and it didn't look like the video esp that creek/river you were walking by seems to have some field/open spaces as a background and it doesn't look like that on the map !?

    Lots of birds commit suicide because they have reborn human in them,and birds work for the police they catch lots of crooks there great at getting number plates😮🎉
