Omg you are speaking to my soul right now! I had nerve pain so bad on one side and I haven’t heard anyone else say that. Going to get the IUD out today after 1 year and I’m just so excited and will be so relieved.
Its just crazy how much havok our birth control can have on our bodies when its not the right fit. Hopefully the pain during intimacy changes over time for you. And that this new birth control method works for you. I cant believe the hospital staff didnt at least wait for you to leave before commenting amongst themselves that you took it out yourself 🤦🏿♀️. Thankfully that workee out as well and you had no complications
I’ve had my mirena iud for 7 years, today I decided that I’ll be getting it removed. The saddest part is is that I’ve had painful sex for as long as I’ve been active.
I tried to remove mine myself but couldn’t. I went to 4 different places and no one could remove it. Finally I got it removed 4 months ago by a doctor that had delivered babies before.. I have never had children so when she stretched my cervix to find the short string to my iud.. it was quite painful but I’m overly just happy that it’s no longer there creating discomfort. It’s took over a month to get my period back. My period isn’t regular yet but i get it every month
If it was that easy to take it out..yeah this method of BC is NOT for me. BC in general has always been something I was against this just confirmed why. Thanks for sharing your experience.
🙁 that sucks, fortunately my cycle has always been regular. I hope your body adjusts soon, I would also ask your doctor about it if you haven’t already
@@stylecauldronYours so lucky. my cycles were also as regular as clockwork but since the iud they have been messed up. My doctor says my body might be taking a longer time to adjust.

Hej Zoe
I had numbness on the left side of my body. I had kyleena. Boy, so many problems. I will never ever do it again.
@@lornalisa5974 I had Kyleena as well. Feeling so much better since getting it out.
Thank you so much for this video on the iud. This really helped me out. Out of all the RUclips videos on RUclips yours was my best suit for me!
I took mine out myself. I took the money I saved having someone do it and went clothes shopping. I feel amazing 🤩.
I just took mine out tonight 😅😅😅 easy peasy 🎉🎉🎉
I took it out myself too ma'am. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

I feel UID made my vagina dry & decreased my sex level. As well as it gave me anxiety, panic attacks. My bf couldn’t beat it up without being painful.

Thank you for sharing your story. 💖
Feeling free definitely is good 👍. I can't feel the rope so I don't know if I can remove it by myself. Sorry for the pain
Ya I took mine out too
How long did it take your cycles to regulate please. My cycles are messed up

It’s been a year, do you still experience pain during intimacy?
Sometimes…every intimate situation is different and the cervix moves throughout our cycles so it depends on the situation and time
@@stylecauldron thank you so much for replying. Your IUD series was very helpful and informational to me ♥️
