I'm 70 years old and listened to pop music my entire life, at least until the late 80s...then the music changed, the lyrics got stupid, and the vocalists just didn't have the "gift" anymore. The first time I heard this angel sing I was hooked! I know real talent when I hear it, and this is it!

I was very sad when we lost Karen Carpenter, I loved her voice. Your voice is so very reminiscent of hers, but also very much your own. Take the compliments of comparison for what they are, but also realize that we love your voice AS your voice. Listening to you sing brings back so many memories, I admit I tear up listening to it. Amazing, fantastic song. I know people are comparing you to Karen Carpenter and I hope you are embracing that as something positive. Karen had such an amazing voice that was crystal clear. I honestly didn't think I would ever hear another person with a voice like hers in my lifetime, and yet here you are. As you are aware the production of the records and the vocal sound are among the best at that time as well as Karen's way of interpreting the melody. I'm loving how these great and talented people are coming out and recreating all this fantastic music from yesteryear. Its very nostalgic and beautiful to see/hear the great MUSIC from the 60s, 70s and 80s live on through new generations. My two teenage boys prefer the older music to the new stuff. Simply, its music. I was listening to Karen on the radio the other day, her voice was so awesome and unique. A sound taken to early. I thought no one could ever sing like that again. Then, WOW!!!! She is awesome. I would see her in concert in a heart beat. Karen found a way back to her fans through a very talented person. Can you say reincarnation? Would love to her sing Please Mr Postman!! That would definitely bring me back to my high school days.

What is nice about her voice is that it is so natural; she is not forcing it. She just naturally sounds similar to Karen Carpenter.
This is another excellent video by this beautiful voice that has to be heard around the world. She has musical talent that will definitely go places and warm the hearts of those who take the time to listen. Voices like hers are rare that come along as a blessing in disguise. Composing songs would not be difficult for her. They might be challenging, but they would be fun and inspirational, especially with her voice that is so nice to listen to. I may not have the ability to orchestrate a song, but I can write melodies and harmonies that are worth singing.
