I am a fan of the Panther's, but this routine is kind of boring to me. It just doesn't have that "holy sh*t wooow" factor, but their tumbling is (as always) flawless.

their pyramid is at least more interesting than in years past...although I love jessica so much as center she's not as tall as Carly so in pyramids it's obvious but then again this yr all their flyers are short(not fetuses) just short.
Charline Liu Really no Cheer Athletics pyramid has ever wow'd me, except for 2014 Wildcats. They all just seem to lack "outside of the box" transitions or positions.
The pyramid is boring, but if there's one thing CA has always done well it's pyramid transitions. You rarely see the same girls in the same spot every time they hold for a pyramid stunt. #CA4LIFE
I'm starting to think that the center flyer is paying for being in the center (just a way to express myself), her knees shake almost in every stunt its clear how her legs are not strong enought, her bases must be dying the whole routine and I don't remember so well but I think that was her stunt who cost them worlds last year. I love panthers so much I love how fierce they all are but you can see not only in this competition but in others that the center flyer must be another one. It is just my opinion from what I see I love them anyways :)
I know this is super old, but Jessica Pak (centre flyer) is actually a really amazing flyer. She hit all of her stunts at worlds, even with one of her bases basing with one hand. She's centre on Wildcats this season, and seems to be more consistent, so maybe she's just better suited to coed stunting. And she didn't cost them worlds, the deduction for being out of bounds did. She's my favourite flyer so I get a little defensive haha :)
How the fuck did panthers win when they didn't hit on day one and on day two in this video at 2:14 someone bounces off the matt on a double and touches the red mat which if you do that's 5 points taken and they still won FYI cea had wayyyyyyy more difficulty like did the judges forget about the ladies of teal 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Well I guess with all those deductions they still beat Senior Elite. And come on, Panthers' tumbling (especially standing) is to DIE FOR. And senior elite cant win them all.
I'm not the biggest Panthers fan, partly because they're not too exciting to watch. They could have 12 double ups to stretch simultaneously go up, and I'd forget about it after they got off the mat. Cheer Athletics' teams usually don't have that much flair going on in their routines, and that's okay. They don't need to have Shooting Stars entertainment value to win; they currently hold the most golds, and globes from Worlds, which shows that they're doing things right. Also, this division is too close with the plethora of talent on each team, and I think Panthers are ticking all the right boxes right now. Their jumps are on point, and because they turn, it adds more difficulty to their score. Their tumbling is ridiculous in terms of quantity and execution, although I don't think they're going to blow anyone out of the water in that category (but I do think they'll be on top, or close to it in that category); Stingrays and Shooting Stars look crazy good in tumbling as well. Panthers' stunting has never really been their specialty (if I remember correctly, they were 4th in building at Worlds last year on day 2), however when they have 7 1 1/2 ups, and 5 of which are double based (as of NCA, so it could change to 9 or 10 1 1/2 ups given their current layout at that time in the routine), it will push their score that much higher, definitely more difficult than Shooting Stars 8-10 full ups before their pyramid. Pyramid... I have been very vocal about how much I loathe this pyramid (I even commented a month ago about on this very video!). It's just so, so, so boring. It seriously looks like the pyramid would be better suited for a medium team, like Swooshcats. Dance... I have no clue on who scores better, how it's scored, etc. For all I know, Cheer Tyme love could have the highest scoring dance.
Ehhhh... Each LAG team has their own flare, in my opinion. Senior Elite is very flashy with the stunts and pyramids, Cheer Athletics has the sassy-clean-perfected look, F5 (I'll still include them in the LAG) has the very "diva" and in-your-face attitude, Orange has THE clean look - they may not have a flair, but they're appealing to the eyes, and Shooting Stars has that very over-the-top showstopper look. This is just what I've observed over the years. Each team has a style that they consistently bring throughout the years, whether it was intentional or not. I don't know... just something I've noticed.
HighFlyer66 Well, that's your opinion, and that was mine. Panthers may have peaked at NCA, but they couldn't keep that momentum up at the end of the season. That's why Panthers came in third at Worlds, and Stars placed second. I think NCA is the most important competition for Cheer Athletics, so if they're happy that they won NCA and don't care about the placements for Worlds, then that's great for them.

I LOVE this routine! Even without seeing their facial expressions, they have so much energy and intensity!
i wonder if they could actually hit body positions without a 2-count wait after every full up.

Simple, Stunt falls basically guarantee that you wont be getting 1st place.Senior Elite can win them all.
