see it depends... I used to tumble and I always had my own solo pass. I was also a main base. Speaking only for myself I found basing after tumbling kinda easy, almost like a break. Flying you can't relax because your in the air trying not to fall. Now jumps after tumbling was always annoying....gah

Everything was slow and sloppy but that season they dealt with injuries people quitting etc then went to worlds and killed it on day 2. Kelsey nailed all of her passes. It was amazing... Panthers and senior elite were ammmaaazing at worlds but stars were R O B B E D
I think when kelsey busted the opening standing tumbling, she just gave up and didnt try, because i've seen way more complicated tumbling from her than that.
Bridget O'Sullivan It couldn't be that hard if numerous cheerleaders on different teams do the same thing as her (fly and tumble last pass) and land all of their passes. The least she could have done was stretch if she was going to be in the air. That heel stretch is GOD awful and the scale is so bent. And its not like this is the first time she didn't land her passes. She busted the same pass at Worlds. This isn't a hate comment I'm just pointing out that so many cheerleaders do the same thing if not harder and she busts more than she lands throughout the season.
okay, Kelsey fell twice at NCA. Let me say that again, NCA ! One of the biggest comps they go to. Kelsey was a senior so it was her last year ever going to NCA and she's gonna remember this competition with her falling. As for her lack of enthusiasm in the dance doesn't mean anything. I completely agree, that said, you can see from the very beginning of the routine... not even, from their initial poses, she has a bad attitude. I love Kelsey, she is such an inspiring human being, but she had an attitude from the beginning and I think that's what made her perform like this. And I still think that she performed great, I mean, I don't think any of us can do half the things she does.
When Maddie Gardner failed her 360 ball up at worlds, she got straight up and continued like nothing had happened, and finished the routine the best she could. Afterwards she cried, but not on the mat! I think Kelsey have something to learn from Maddie. A real cheerleader gets up even though you bust both of your tumbling passes.
you're right even if you mess up my coaches taught me never show your emotions when you mess up just smile and keep going what Kelsey did was uncalled for especially that she's a senior and a captain of SS she should be an example. Id rather smile the whole time if I fell out of my double than have a bad attitude and be noticed for it.
In all honesty Kelsey is a great tumbler but she is also one of the least consistent tumblers I've seen. She falls at like every other competition. Not hating but if you're last pass and you better know you're gonna rock it out.
and kiara nowlins coach pushes her hard, but she still does it. she does way more then kelsey does and hits it every single time, she flys and bases. so if she "can do it" she should hit it every single time, if not then dont even give her the last pass if she cant hit it every single time
i don't think she was upset.. i think she was shocked for a second and did not know how to react or she thought she could've hurt herself, that's why she didn't got up immediately. you never know what's going throught their head while they are performing.

The only time Kiara messed up was at the first competition. Other than that shes flawless. People dont give her credit when she is point jumper, a flyer, a base, and was smoeds best tumbler. Kelsey just flys and tumbles. I do the same exact thing I can agree its hard but its no where near what Kiara does
i agree, but kelsey flies because with all the tumbling she does, she wouldn't be able to base. and besides, she is capable of hitting the tumbling pass, so why would the coaches not explore her skills? and i think she would want to do it for higher points, because she also wants to win... but i do think that's a lot of exaustion :P

I think people are annoyed at the fact that she didn't put a smile on her face and try harder to keep going. One of the first things she would have been taught at cheer is to always smile and not let the audience see that you messed up. Granted, it's much harder if you're hurt but she probably should have made a bit more effort in the dance to put on a brave face and not ruin that part of the routine by frowning and and seemingly having a bad attitude.

I don't think it's fair to say that her coaches push her too hard, many cheerleaders are the only ones pushing themselves too hard. Kelsey probably enjoys helping out her team by doing the hardest passes & elite flying. I'm sure her coaches do push her to do her best but I'm sure that they're aren't monsters that use an athlete just for points. WCSS is simply showcasing their amazingly talented athletes. kelsey isnt the only girl who is pushed\pushes herself on this team or any other team

I have said this before & people tend to take it the wrong way, but when kelsey would have an off day it was written all over her face & obvious from her body language before she would even perform. I've even joked before that you can tell by her hair & makeup whether or not shes gonna hit. Day 1 @ NCA this year she didn't even do her hair it was still damp from her shower. She had a lot on her plate with this years routine & she was bound to have some eh days but when shes off, she is OFF.

What is the hardest skill a level 5 cheerleader can do?
you can do a double which is a double twisting layout . but you can do specialty passes with a lot of combinations.
