Is there a way that I can contact him via email address, I'm very insipred by his story

@@notsure6187 Thanks I'll send this bro an email
What a generous, level-headed and respectable guy. Refreshing to see someone with his attitude these days.
Yeah, cool isn't it
Loved his attitude towards giving to others!
Totally agree. He’s doing what I aspire to. Make about half that now, but still try to save everything and donate.
Cambridge is filled with these people. Great place to live.
That is new 20s generation. They are different.
This young man is very smart with his money. His rent is reasonable, his grocery bill isn't too high, he built his own business, and he actually gives back! He's smart, successful and kind. And he lives way below his means, so it's fair to say he's humble and doesn't see money as a way to show off. It's amazing when people aren't focused on materialistic things, but rather wish to help others. He's a nice and empathetic person. I wish him all the very best.
Yana S lol
Based on his family photo it looks like he comes from typical New England old money. Level-headed, generous, and not showy, as it should be. I'm from Connecticut originally, but my father lives in Miami and I hate visiting the gaudy fucking circus down there.
Alastair Hewitt I live in miami and I hate it
I live in Miami too and man do people like to show their money.
He gives back to charity because it’s a HUGE tax break. Still awesome thing to do but can always benefit if you talk to the right people
Makes 100k, spends 33k, that's pretty good savings.
A Nony Mouse 100k after tax is prob like 80k still good tho
Donations included in those 33k he’s amazing
@@tenzinwangjor5079 way less, more like 70k. in NYC that's the bare minimum you would need to live a comfortable life, to not live paycheck to paycheck.
g sucks to live in nyc. Love to visit all the time
What I don't get is why does he only have 43k in investments??? He mention index funds which aren't really risky so the math doesn't add up here. Unless he literally only been doing this solopreneur thing for less than a year.
Impressive guy. I know a lot of folks making more than a 100K a year but none donates 600 USD a month. That's a lot.
Donations are also a tax write off, he's not being generous, he's being smart.
Corey Williams just for everyone who reads this, donations only matter for taxes if you don’t take the standard deduction which for most people is what they’ll do. Donate because it’s a good thing to do, don’t do it for the financial benefits
donations done to large non profits or foundations is a waste. over 90% of the money is used for overhead and the remaining is used towards the cause. if you still want to donate only donate direct to someone in need.
Those folks have kids
he saves most of his salary, thats extremely good. are people in this thread really telling him to stop donating? smh
Trevor's that one kid in class that always questions the teacher's answers 😂
But makes the most
and sells bud on the side
"Do we have homework today?"
STFU TREVOR
There’s the ones that answer the questions and the ones that question the answers
Yup, we can tell. Lol.🤣
0:17 “I’m a single guy”
3:48 “my girlfriend”
What??
Does your girlfriend know you’re single?
Means that he doesnt live with his gf but independently
Maybe he means single for tax purposes and that his income is not combined with his gf.
Unmarried is single
Single as in no one is financially dependent on him
Your single (legally) until your married.
Make that money off those Harvard trust fund babies. That a boy!
If you haven’t noticed, he’s actually wearing a Princeton shirt lol
Just before this video blows up:
For Cambridge, 825 in rent probably means he lives in a three bedroom with 2 other roommates and it definitely doesn't include electricity. That house he walked out of in the beginning is a 2 or 3 family and it would probably sell for at least 1.7m+ in the current market depending where in Cambridge it is.
TheHalfSum RIOGHT!
my brother and his friend live in a no bedroom pos rinky dink apt for 700
Thank you for putting that into perspective! I was SHOCKED when he said that $825 for rent in Cambridge is terrible! I don't know the market in Cambridge, but I know that $825 for rent anywhere in the northeast is a steal! 😂 (Assuming a solo paid renter/owner)
Brandon D. It should tip us off to how out of touch this person may be with the fact that they are not living a typical life-ironically, it underlines the point he brings up, that people our age are not having honest conversations with each other about their financial lives.
Imagine how many other people let him know that they also we’re paying around $800 a month for him to have believed that his was typical. Or... the whole friendship circle could have multiple roommates and ridiculously high incomes.
Yup cheap rent for sure. I pay $2000 for Coolidge corner two bedroom.
And the part “I’m actuallly a terrible employee” 😭
Only rationalizes the fact that he thinks its super normal to always ask for more money lol. 3 jobs he's been fired from... It begins to make sense when you hear the full story.
He's not a team player, you can tell he has that solo mentality and does not work well in teams. Glad he found something he's good at.
lol This video isn't going anywhere. It could hypothetically effect his "future" en-devours. But hey, at 26 there is no future, just the now.
Lol. Awww that was funny but no funny at all. ruclips.net/video/JvmwiwxcgNw/видео.html
@@borriskarlov8140 you're probably the most moronic person i have seen online. Bet you're making half of him and already in deep debt
I'm a financier and YES, non-business people get quite upset and surprised when I openly talk about money. It's a finance thing, all my business- and finance-trained friends are perfectly fine talking about money, their personal financial decisions, their problems, etc. Others get weirded out.
Is it safe to say that those that are open and upfront about their finances tend to do better than those that arent?
Is it that people are embarrassed about it?
Totally agree with ya and sometimes I think people think money is a matter of privacy just as you don’t ask people their age.
It’s an American culture thing, people are bashful talking openly about finance. Well, I think it’s also a class thing. Rich people don’t have an issue with the subject because how else to become rich otherwise? It’s completely normal in Asian culture to talk about money.
@@jacklu1190 my father is relatively well off, my family never talks about how much we make in-front of others. If you ask about his company investment he will tell you but never our income. He doesn't have to tell you , you can see how big his offices are and how many people he employs. My mom always told me to be humble. Yes it is completely" normal" to talk about it in our culture but it always turns into gossip. it always starts off with how much your husband makes? WHAT CAR DO YOU DRIVE? WHAT IS the PRICE OF YOUR HOUSE? How much is in his bank account? then the Chinese relatives gossip the heck out of someone's income because their income indicate their worth. It is quite disgusting. Most guys can't even get married without a house and a car in china, how is this positive? . Even my friends won't stop talking about other people income in a gossipy way not in a positive way. When i first got married the first question was always, how much dose your husband make? where did he get his degree? DId he buy you a home? what car did he buy you? Is this really positive? They never ask other qualities. I prefer the west. This is the reason I never tell any of my Chinese relatives my income, my asset. Then they come to you for " loans" . Most Chinese not only talk about it but they brag about it or round UP their income. I basically know every single income of my mom's friends' kids because their parents tells you 10 seconds after sitting down at the dinning table.
Women need to listen to him: Charge people more for the work you do. We under-charge.
So true
@Jhon Krasnovskiy LOL! They overcharge for that. But simps are willing to pay for it, so whatever.
@@FaintAura What?
I want to be friends with him, he seems like he could make me a better person by simply being his friend.
If you're interested in an opportunity where self growth is very important and the opportunity for making money is there as well. Let me know! I have a mentor I can get you in touch with
He seems awkward asf and hard to deal with collectively which is why he didn't last in the job market.
@@TheAz1atic I'm interested!
@@leon2385 Are you in the U.S.? What state are you in?
D Bra 😁
This is great and all but can they make a video about the majority of millennials who are barely making $40,000/year? Like how are they living geez
That would be boring af
not in boston
Samantha Mac just follow me I’m living on like 28k a year and living large
I bring home roughly 2k a month. Rent is 500 a month(I live with roommates in a college town) Entertainment, gas, insurance, phone are about 700/month. I was lucky enough not to take out a bunch of money for student loans, but I try to pay back 400/month. So I'm able to save 400 a monthish. I dont drink or eat out as much as I used too. I learned to cook which helped me save. I think what's important is setting up a budget and seeing where you can cut your spending so you can live the best life you can with your income.
nitish kannan 28k a yeah and living large? 🤔 do you save any sort of money? Retirement plan? Emergency fund? Live alone, with parents or SO? Hard to live large on 28k for most people
Never seen someone with such self awareness. "I'm a terrible employee"😭😭
Why asking someone what's their rent is weird?? That's a pretty normal question to ask
Yeah. Being blind about the market price only benefits the landlords and disadvantages the renters
If everyone is asking just for information it is 100% fine, believe it or not some people ask for the wrong reason. esp mortgages is a good indication of someone's income. Some people actually gossip about other people's income/ spending habits and mortgages. Not hard to see it, just look a the comment section below. I rarely disclosed the prices I paid for my homes not even to my relatives because they often gossip about other people's home prices / income. They LOVE To talk about it. First thing they asked me was how much my husband made a year. I told them enough to keep us alive. With glass door / rental listing websites, zillow it is not hard to find out the average information. For those who are actually buying homes etc I told them when they asked, like my friends who were going through the process etc. Other people asking out of " curiosity" I just don't share any of that information , I also don't like disclose my asset. Even till this day my father , in laws dose not know how many houses we own. They don't know how much we make either. I also don't know how much they make
@@7lol2007 Good, keep that way. People are fake.
In New York it’s veryyy taboo for us to discuss rent prices! Maybe because it is so expensive and we are all ashamed of what we are paying and/or we are scared of people’s reactions to what we are paying. There’s a number of reasons why asking what’s someone’s rent is weird!
this guy does not have a girlfriend
Love the donations he makes. What a considerate nice guy. Lot's of respect!
He's doing great and giving back. Big ups to him. PS. Asking people what thier rent is... is not a weird question. Please ask that question all the time.
I think Graham Stephen would approve of this one
So nice to see a responsible, generous young person who is so self aware.
$850/mo rental in Cambridge, MA? Does he rent a shared shoebox?
1 bdr starting at $2000.
J I smell bullshit
He may have roommates
In the article it states he has roommates.
He says it in the video: He rents a room in a house. He also says that he would ideally want to move into a studio.
$2000?? That’s how much I make in a month damn life is scary
He’s reminds me of Steve from blues clues . Don’t ask me why 🤣
Poochie Mccray why? 🤣🤣🤣
Poochie Mccray head shape, hair color & cut, stripe shirt? 😅
The shirt is your answer
It’s the shirt
This guy seems like such an awesome person. He is handling his finances in a very responsible way, so honestly I wish him all the best.
Seems like a genuinely cool and decent guy, on top of being on point with his personal finance game, that would be cool to hang with.
Really appreciate this. Love that you donate, I think many people in your situation wouldn't even think about other people. Keep it up bro!
Fired from his first four jobs and making $100K? This guy at some point might have done a 180 degree turn after realizing his mistakes.... or was it just a realization that being an employee wasn't for him? The reality for a lot of people is to do good at your job, be respectful to your Bosses, save up, then start your own business. He sure is one isolated case.
I got fired 3 times in the past 12 months and I have a job paying 110k here in nyc. "good" employees dont get paid, hard to replace ones do
Kudos to him for giving so much back to others. 👍🏻
He’s pretty awesome! Keep doing what you do. Keep donating and caring.
Making $59,000 and started working this year, already maxed out my IRA, and hoping to pay off student loans in 14 months can’t freaking wait. Although I recently moved back home so hopefully even quicker than before
Stephen Imsong awesome!! Don't have kids!!!
Hey stephen If you dont mind asking how much do you own in student loans? 14 months to pay in student loans seems quite quick lol
Sergio Baloco I started with $15k last year, so I’ve been paying them off since January, so it’s been one whole year and now I have $9500, I was living in an apartment for most of the year and I bought a car hence why I only paid off $5500 in debt, but I’m at home lol
@@stephenimsong3462 how old are you?
What did you study
I'm from the city of boston and I can tell you this. It's expensive. I make roughly around 80k ( give or take) as a real estate agent and it's really crazy. The biggest thing that help me when it came to money management was working at the bank and seeing first hand how people spend there check and the struggles that some people goes through to make ends meet. It was an eye opener. Promise myself that I will never go down certain routes when it comes to spending. Luckily, I was fortunate to invest in areas that I see that I could improve. Money management. It has help me so much.
This guy is cool. Please make more videos like this, i was feeling down today and this really helped!
Asking rent is not a weird question. It's just a difficult question to ask as people are on autopilot when handling personal finances. So explaining someone else their expenses is a reality check and that scares people so they act weird about it. it's their way of defending their bad habits.
Great episode! I think he is living a very balanced life and I like how he is so casual about it. Thank you for sharing this!
That's a great life. Doing what you want and getting enjoyment out of it. Being happy. Living a comfortable life.
You’d call his life ‘comfortable ‘? How?
Dude said he’s playing life on easy mode 😂
I have a lot of respect for this dude and the way he thinks. Kudos to you for keeping charity in your budget.
He managed a good amount in donations. I always keep one thing in my mind too...
The MORE you GIVE, The MORE you're gonna GET!
This guy is honestly a god. Back when I was in school ages ago, I couldn't imagine life without tutors, especially for the tougher subjects and for placement exams. These days, tutors are cheaper and more abundant than ever!
wow he is allocating a huge chunk of his income for donations. what a great guy
It takes some real maturity to be that self-aware and also air it out on social media for everyone to see. He seems like a great guy not just with finances, but his attitude in life!
this guy actually seems very nice and respectful!! I actually checked out his tutoring website too haha!
I love these series.
👌way to go Trevor. Keep up the good work mate.
Also study is a great business everywhere even in india.
I lived in Medford, MA for over 2 yrs and I had missed living on my own. It is tough to find a studio at a good price in Boston so I ended moving about 40 mins outside Boston to Hudson, MA and my studio was $750. I had loved living on the out skirts especially from the day to day hussle.
J T I recently visited a friend in Hudson. It was a really nice city! We ate at all the restaurants and stuff. They lived walking distance from downtown.
Definitely a cute little quiet town that is starting to become up an coming. I always hung out at the library and Medusa Brewery on the Main Street. Now, I live in Las Vegas and definitely miss the culture that Boston has. Las Vegas lacks that big time!
This is the art of living well-below one’s means in order to have more flex with the green. Living in the city of Baltimore, with a salary of 90k, I can totally relate. 👍🏽
$825 is insanely cheap for Cambridge. You can’t find a studio for under $1k and even a 5 bedroom dump in Central Square is going to be at least $800 per person
He’s dope! I love this series!
Great video! More people should be open to talking about their finances.
Love thses videos can watch all day
Loved every bit of this.
Loved his honesty!
25 years old and making 100k wow I’m 30 and I’m making $40k 😳 And living in LA! I need to do something about this! Lol
Marry him lol
@Jhon Krasnovskiy I dont know if he has a girlfriend or not,it was just a joke,i dont think anyone should marry for money because that is a horrible decision, you become a merch.
I make just over six figures in LA and can't afford a house still :(
Patricia Paixao LoL
Harvey lin It’s getting more expensive here.
this might be my favorite millennial money...he's doing great financially, but he just seems so at peace with everything.
Probably has a lot to do with his practice of martial arts...if you take it as serious as he is it will teach you to be peace at everything.
That's so cool that he gives back to help others.
He’s really authentic, cool dude!
For some reason I love this guy because he donates money to charity and the fact he pays 825 for rent is cheap in Cambridge!
Please interview millennials abroad! I'm 28 living in Amsterdam and spend less on rent/healthcare/transport (i have a bike lol) and so forth.
How much do you pay in taxes though?
@@racequad9 taxes in the netherlands are around 25% if I'm correct.
@@racequad9 must be a lot since she never responded.
Man.... I like him. He so positive, grateful and transparent.
Although he doesn't make a substantial amount this was my 3rd favorite millennial money. The million dollar per year followed by the over 500k for year were the most exciting but this one just felt good.
Out of all the Millennial Money videos, he seems to be the smartest person among them all. Even though he suffers from "can't play well with others" mentality, he was smart enough to start his own business.
He seems like a solid guy. Humble about what he is earning and donating because he can.
Wow i absolutely loved this video. I also lived in Boston and used to tutor there. But i ended up getting homeless and having to go to a shelter. I used to charge $20/hour which seems like a lot but when u take the train both ways and then only tutor 1.5 hrs it's really worth worth it. Also i tutored a guy at mcphs for a long time. I tutored him for 4 hrs one day and he said he forgot his money so i said no prob u could give it to me later. But i had been tutoring him for his finals so he didnt need me anymore..and disappeared without paying me. So...my point is im a horrible businesswoman.
I ran a business like his. 25K a month was typical during high demand seasons. But there were lean times, too.
Finally a decent dude who isn’t going all gung-ho about penny pinching at every step of the way.
Minus the donation part. I know me and this guy would be good friends. I need people like him in my circle ✊🏾
I live 20 miles SE of boston and my rent is 1050...How exactly is this guy paying 825 for rent IN CAMBRIDGE ?!?!?
Some of these videos r either unrealistic, or not giv9ng the whole story!
Carpe Diem Roommates
Sure you can get your own place in like Quincy for 1000+, but he prob lives in an apt with 2 other ppl
He mentioned he’s living in a room in a house so I assume quite a few people live there
Carpe Diem he probably knew someone. I’m sure you can find it if you know the right places. I live in a smallish town and 825 is very low for here too.
He said he lived "in a room in a house".
Great video but if you got student loans and can’t find a job even with a good college major due to whatever reasons, it’s difficult to be in this position. That doesn’t mean there aren’t people gainfully employed and still can’t manage their finances as effective as this gentleman.
Prince Ataya agreed!!!
I like this dude
Nick's Dynasty literally my comment!
He seems like a really cool guy.
I wish I had my life put together like his lol
I FULLY understand how frustrating it is to be smarter than the boss. Glad YOU are the boss if you now!
That’s pretty good for the donations being happy is not about how much you have it’s about how much you give .
damn that’s awesome to see how much he donates a month, hella inspiring
That was pretty cool to see someone else in Cambridge with similar pay and expenses as myself. No college loans for this guy, so he saves up like a boss.
I got a bunch. Also that dojo looks like heaven #2019goals
Good dude. When I was 25 I was making min wage and blowing all of it and then some on the bar. It got me off to a rough financial start in my 30s when I could've been buying a house.
Okay I'm from Boston and Cambridge is not Boston. But its still nice to see someone from this video living in Massachusetts. Cambridge is still pretty expensive to live in.
Inspiring. This will be me one day.
He is the first on millennial money that does donations. Kudos to this guy.
I love it. Freelancer who does BJJ. He's like my white counterpart in Boston. Wish I saved this aggressively earlier in life though
My default goal is saving” this guy is mood. This guy reminds me of Sheldon from Big Bang theory
It's pretty much certain that at some point over a long period of time you will know something that someone else doesn't and they will know something you don't. Being stubborn in the moment and being stubborn in the long run are two very different things.
That rent in crazy low for the Boston area- lucky him! When I started looking it was closer to 2000$ a month for a studio...
This guy is so likeable and doing great financially
I know this is 10 months old but Graham needs to react to this
The amount of money he donates annually! RESPECT
$825 is Cambridge is good? My man thats unheard of. He must have a ton of roommates.
"pretty good income" i love how fast humans can adjust their lifestyle around their income so theyre always wanting more
100k at 25... damn.. as a tutor!?
Yepp, tutoring those rich ivy league kids
that Kaplan shet is so lucrative, it's a complete rip off (well maybe not LSAT...) but he's smart to ride the wave
definitely the son of an accountant, he will end up with a really nice nest egg when hes ready to retire! Keep up the good work trevor! also could use some
I really like this guy
What an admirable guy!
He killing the game!!!
Go Trevor!! You’re awesome!!!
this guy's awesome!!!
Good for him!
Really glad I watched this guy after watching the video of that flamingo in Detroit
GREAT VIDEO
Good on him for donating
I am also ultra open about my fianances, income, and spending in most cases. I also find it bizarre that people 'don't' talk more about these things. I believe its the best way to get equal pay and level the playing weird by exchanging info. That's me though, I guess...
Chillest guy ever
