After seeing Hbox’s video about the crab incident a year later, man. As just an average person that isn’t seen by thousands of people a day, how do you not hear an entire crowd of people chant “fuck you” and just not break down or quit? It made me realize how different my life is compared to those competitors.
Nothing makes me happier than knowing everyone in that crowd was crying and screaming into their pillows last night over HBox taking the tournament. Such a disrespectful crowd. Get rekt.
Kujirolo well when the tournament was over everyone cheered for HBox and also chanted “Hungrybox!, Hungrybox!” So they weren't really crying over HBox his win but yeah they were fucking disrespectful here
Today we have a comparable situation with Sonix in Ultimate, it has not been as far as for Hbox in Melee but it's only a matter of time I think. Smash scene in general doesn't learn from their mistakes...

One is he is apparently a dick in person, which from first hand accounts seem a bit blown out of proportion, but he isn’t exactly buddy buddy like most players. Another is the character and play style he plays where puff is seen as a lame character and he just “camps”. Another is just that he wins a lot. A good example would be the recent Super Bowl; you probably won’t see a lot of people rooting for the Patriots and Tom Brady because they win all the time. It’s the same with Hbox since he’s the number 1 player in the world and wins all the time.

A lot of people call him sort of a douche irl, I don’t really know what he’s like since I’ve never met him but apparently he always overdoes his popoffs and stuff idk Another one, which is the reason why I don’t root for him, is because of his playstyle. He plays really really defensively, and tends to “camp” a lot. This got him a lot of criticism and hate from other players. Last is the fact that he just keeps on winning. If you follow the NBA, you’d know that the Golden State Warriors are the best team and has been for about 4-5 years now. Hence, everyone except for Warriors fans hate them
