I just found out about this boat today and I am extremely curious to building one. What tooling are "non-common" used for this build? ie wood benders/shapers, etc?
@@strongme80 With the kit form, you really don't need much more than common handheld tools e.g. drill, sander, etc. We did use a bandsaw for an optional step
Nice boat and build. I must admit that I would not be happy if I received a kit with major parts damaged. But well done for working through the problem.
Thank you for the comment Eric and let me know when you get up here, perhaps we can row a day together. The trailer is from Trailex, Inc. Product SUT-350-S
Now that is a pretty boat! Nice concise build video.
Thanks guys❤❤❤
Almost done with mine what type of trailer did you use?
Looking good! I'm about 1/2 way done with mine. The sailing version adds lots of fiddly bits. Cheers!

Do you have an appropriate cost for the sailing version so far

I've seen cable ties used instead of wire !
Looks great. I'm starting mine soon but I'm going to be over here on the Potomac River. May venture some to the Bay here and there.

is the boat made of 1/2 inch marine plywood?
Nice work!
Beautiful. I'm moving mine up from FL to the Chesapeake, will wave to you as we row by each other. I'd love to know where you got the trailer from.

👌 nice work. Could you share about how many hours you put in the build?
