Loved this designs, i can't wait to start with mine, I got my containers delivered from Wuwi Shipping Container last week. I got it cheap and paid it upon delivery. I would probably get 2 more from them for my future container house.

These ideas are environmental nightmares. I work with containers everyday, and they are HOT in the summer, and COLD in the winter. None of these "home" ideas showed adequate insulation. Adding huge glass windows will only amplify the temperature problems. Stacking them so that each container is offset and isolated from the others will create expensive temperature control problems. Then, there is the problem of disposing of the sheets of metal cut out to make the containers livable. Finally, after these container homes are no longer chic, they will become rusting eye-sores for future generations who will scratch their heads wondering why we did this. Container homes are NOT environmentally friendly!
Certainly, your concerns regarding container homes are well-founded. The challenges associated with temperature control, the environmental impact of modifying shipping containers, and the long-term aesthetic appeal of these structures are all significant factors that should be carefully considered when contemplating the adoption of container homes as a housing solution.
I don't know what type of work you do but there's a reason why any home owner and would be owner would do their research first before starting to construct their own homes (btw, this video is DESIGN IDEAS focused) and it includes insulation, posterior (including claddings) and interior design, wirings, plumbings, etc etc.... Forgetting any of these is a disaster waiting to happen so noobs are ALWAYS advised to consult architects and engineers first before executing a DIY, especially with container homes. True, these are not cost friendly as a beginner would think it is, but I think, as a homeowner, it is one of the most effective and efficient out there.
Hot in the summer...cold in the winter...the earth is going to end when that rusty metal, that came from the ground, goes back into the ground. And it's definitely going to be an utter nightmare heating and cooling all that massive square footage you get when you combine a couple 8x20 containers. How arrogant of you to make assumptions about the buildings without confirming if you're correct. Hence, we have a right to our own perspective but not our own facts.
